Located in the centre of Edinburgh, just a few minutes’ walk from the Royal Mile and 650 yards of The Real Mary King's Close, Market Street forms part of Edinburgh’s historic skyline. Everything was simply perfect!

The Witchery by the Castle offers a range of opulent suites in Edinburgh, each one unique with its own special features. After glamping in a pod in the highlands, we booked The Witchery last minute--couple hours before we checked in--to pamper ourselves and rejuvenate before touring Edinburgh. The guardsman room was spacious with a large hall and three rooms and a bath. Great views outside the windows. The temperature was perfect--many places we stayed we had a hard time regulating this. Heated bathroom floors and a soaker tub perfect for relaxing after walking all day. The Dyson hair dryer came with many attachments including a diffuser for my curly hair! Hair straightener was also available--such a welcome touch! The breakfast had many choices and option to dine in restaurant or eat in sitting room. We chose sitting room and it was delightful. Spread out like royalty! Hotel was very close to shops, food, and the castle we were visiting. The staff held our bags, carried our bags, and helped us take them across the street when checking out. While it was very upscale, the staff were down to earth, professional and friendly. All of the furniture was comfortable and the chilled bottled water and chocolates were a nice touch. Turn down service was available as well.

For a truly memorable stay, there's no better choice than the Virgin Hotel.

Motel One Edinburgh-Royal asub Edinburghi kesklinnas, 5-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel rongijaamast ning vaid 800 meetri kaugusel lossist. The property was in an amazing location, the hotel was very modern and great value for money.

Cosy, convenient and super chic, the 4-star Apex City of Edinburgh Hotel has rooms with extraordinary views and is designed for special stays. New room, excellent bathroom, perfect location!

1905. aastal ehitatud hoones asuvast neljatärnihotellist The Scotsman Hotel avaneb vaade Edinburghi lossile ja Waverley raudteejaamale. I could not fault anything. the location is prefect, right slam bang in the heart of things, breakfast was superb, as was the food and drink options in the Grand Cafe, which is a Must to go to. We were here for Hogmanay, and optioned for the theme diiner and dance. What an amazing way to entry into the New Year. Highly recommend. Well done to everyone that runs and works in this amazing, stunning hotel. It was a dream come true. Would like to leave a very special mention to Gamzie Welsh and Queenie Costa two amazing young ladies would love to give a big pat on the back for all their hard work and support given to sort out a little mixup. Thank you SO very much and hope to stay here again :)))
