The Scholar is a newly refurbished hotel located in the beautiful grounds of the Pollock Estate, just a few minutes’ walk from Arthurs Seat, Holyrood Park and the Meadows and within walking distance... This small cozy place was absolutely worth staying in. The room was very neat and clean. It was cozy in a cold weather. I usually struggle in sleeping in hotels but I must say that I had a good sleep there. The staff are extra friendly and helpful. They were very helpful even in giving directions around the city. The location of the hotel is very convenient and the bus stop is right at the gate of the hotel. I definitely recommend it.

Room was tidy and big bed was so comfortable 15 mints walk to center and 5 mnts in bus . They allow us early check inn as we were too tired after a long journey very highly recommended
