Umeya Annex is a Japanese private home run by an oshi, or a religious teacher that guides and assists visitors on pilgrimages. The property is located next to the oshi's home that was built in 1776 and the only one existing in Kawaguchiko. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. Everything was great, the owner really helpful.

My stomach did not feel very well for two days before caming there, but the dinner tasted great and I felt much better next day. Rooms are clean, with great bath and especially, giving you a vibe of a real western style house in countryside! The host couple were so kind and guided me to have roasted marshmellow, this was my first time doing this! On the second day, they also helped me about my one-day trip plan in Kiyosato.
