Located in Fujikawaguchiko in the Yamanashi region, with Lake Kawaguchi and Fujiomuro Sengen Shrine nearby, ふる里 Mt Fuji inn Furusato provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. We spent 4 nights at this charming place. It is an old traditional Japanese house, with beautiful lounge where you can enjoy tea and sweets, shared bathrooms and a couple of rooms, some with (partly) Fuji view. The house does not offer 5* luxury, but it’s very clean and convenient. The guesthouse is run by 2 very kind younger brothers, who recently reopened the business after a break (therefore not many reviews yet on booking…) They speak well English, and made us feel at home from the very beginning. They picked us up at the station and dropped us there on the way back to Tokyo. We could rent bicycles for free to go around the Kawaguchiko Lake. There is so much to explore in the area! Location of the house is very convenient, few minutes to the lake, a 7 eleven 4 minutes walking, very good local Japanese restaurant nearby. Finally, they even gave me a taxi ride to Subaru 5th station on a Sunday 5:00am (!!!) which allowed me to climb Mt Fuji and get back to catch the bus from 5th station in the afternoon, during off season in the middle of October, how cool is that? I’m so grateful for this experience. Thank you again guys, we had the best time during our entire 3 weeks trip in Japan 😀 We loved the place and the people, hope one day we will come back to meet again!❤️

Sayuri and her family were very welcoming. The location is very practical for visiting the pagoda by bike and the region. Her property is traditional, well apportioned and serviced and the fact she only rents to one family makes it special for a family stop. Sayuri is exceptionally kind, speaks good English (which is helpful), has recommendations that we very much appreciated and practical maps. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the region.

Det hyggelige Country Inn Orchard House har opholdsstue med pejs, gratis WiFi og hjemmelavede vestlige måltider med urter. The hospitality was top-notch. The host was super earnest and really took the effort to make us feel comfortable and totally at home. We were wowed by such warm hospitality. We also enjoyed the food and clean family baths.

Yoshimura ooike sense ligger i Fujikawaguchiko, 3,5 km fra Fuji-Q Highland, 25 km fra Fuji-bjerget og mindre end 1 km fra Kawaguchi-broen. The rooms of this property are very spacious and suitable for our family of 11 (inclusive of 6 adults, 3 teens and 2 elementary kids). In Japan, there are very limited properties with at least 2 toilets and 2 baths/showers that can conveniently and comfortably accommodate big groups like ours. For us, what we consider ideal is one toilet and one bath/shower for every 5 persons. Yoshimura ooike sense is a gem! The cleanliness is superb and the entire property is well-maintained!
