I cannot stress enough how extremely attentive, friendly and accommodating the host is! He offered us welcome drinks and a wide choice of shampoo and conditioner, as well as extras and provided recommendations on what to visit. The accommodation is new, clean and well-designed, with attention to detail. The location is slightly remote, but prefect if you are traveling by car and want a quiet tranquil ambiente.

Located in Fujikawaguchiko in the Yamanashi region, with Lake Kawaguchi and Fujiomuro Sengen Shrine nearby, ふる里 Mt Fuji inn Furusato provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. We had an amazing time! Staying in a traditional house with futon beds was a unique experience. The hosts were incredible—they picked us up from the station and dropped us off without us even asking. When we inquired about renting bicycles, they generously offered us two bikes for free! They mentioned they were planning to buy two more for future guests, so we got brand new bikes, which was fantastic. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again if I visit Kawaguchiko.

We enjoyed staying one night at Sayuri's house very much. We arrived driving and she waited outside the house to direct and greet us. She's a fluent English speaker and we felt very comfortable and welcome. Our accomodation was very spacious and clean. We had three bedrooms and a living room with a kotatsu. The facilities were clean and organized. There's a kitchen we used for breakfast. We also did the laundry, baths, everything needed for a short or long stay. The location is very good. A walking distance from the Chureito pagoda, a short driving distance from Kawaguchico lake and very near a Lawson grocery store. If I'll be back in Japan I'll definitely stay there longer

My stomach did not feel very well for two days before caming there, but the dinner tasted great and I felt much better next day. Rooms are clean, with great bath and especially, giving you a vibe of a real western style house in countryside! The host couple were so kind and guided me to have roasted marshmellow, this was my first time doing this! On the second day, they also helped me about my one-day trip plan in Kiyosato.

In Japan, there are very limited properties with at least 2 toilets and 2 baths/showers that can conveniently and comfortably accommodate big groups like ours. For us, what we consider ideal is one toilet and one bath/shower for every 5 persons. Yoshimura ooike sense is a gem! The cleanliness is superb and the entire property is well-maintained!
