The property is located next to the oshi's home that was built in 1776 and the only one existing in Kawaguchiko. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. Everything was amazing. The owner received us on the bus stop, prepare everything for our stay and landed us bycicles to go around. The place has an amazing view of Mount Fuji and we had an amazing Japanese experience. I wish I stayed a little more time there
Fujikawaguchiko
Located in Fujikawaguchiko in the Yamanashi region, with Lake Kawaguchi and Fujiomuro Sengen Shrine nearby, ふる里 Mt Fuji inn Furusato provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property is around 4.2 km from Fuji-Q Highland, 25 km from Mount Fuji and 2 km from Lake Kawaguchi Ohashi Bridge. The country house features family rooms. We spent 4 nights at this charming place. It is an old traditional Japanese house, with beautiful lounge where you can enjoy tea and sweets, shared bathrooms and a couple of rooms, some with (partly) Fuji view. The house does not offer 5* luxury, but it’s very clean and convenient. The guesthouse is run by 2 very kind younger brothers, who recently reopened the business after a break (therefore not many reviews yet on booking…) They speak well English, and made us feel at home from the very beginning. They picked us up at the station and dropped us there on the way back to Tokyo. We could rent bicycles for free to go around the Kawaguchiko Lake. There is so much to explore in the area! Location of the house is very convenient, few minutes to the lake, a 7 eleven 4 minutes walking, very good local Japanese restaurant nearby. Finally, they even gave me a taxi ride to Subaru 5th station on a Sunday 5:00am (!!!) which allowed me to climb Mt Fuji and get back to catch the bus from 5th station in the afternoon, during off season in the middle of October, how cool is that? I’m so grateful for this experience. Thank you again guys, we had the best time during our entire 3 weeks trip in Japan 😀 We loved the place and the people, hope one day we will come back to meet again!❤️

My stomach did not feel very well for two days before caming there, but the dinner tasted great and I felt much better next day. Rooms are clean, with great bath and especially, giving you a vibe of a real western style house in countryside! The host couple were so kind and guided me to have roasted marshmellow, this was my first time doing this! On the second day, they also helped me about my one-day trip plan in Kiyosato.

This quiet hotel boasts spacious rooms with stunning views of Mount Fuji. Despite its peaceful location, it's close to tourist attractions. While the dinner might appear simple, it's surprisingly delicious. It is important to note that although there is an elevator within the hotel, some areas require stairs, which can be difficult to move around with large and heavy luggage.
The house is exactly what the pictures show! It is spacious for a family of 3. Best part is the great view of Mt Fuji from the 2nd floor balcony. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. There is a convenient store, MacDonald’s and several restaurants within 5 mins drive. But might be a bit far if you’re not driving. The facility of the house is nice and clean. The owner usually replies fast and communicates well.
The room was spacious, providing ample space to relax and unwind, he cleanliness was impeccable. Everything was spotless, from the bathroom to the living area. The location was perfect for us. It was close to key attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it easy to explore the area. Despite its central location, the room was quiet and peaceful.
quiet and peaceful hotel with a nice view of mt fuji. Staff were super hospitable during checkout and kudos to them for providing a complimentary transport to the kawaguchiko station!.
Good location...peaceful...quiet and serene. beautiful rooms...good common bath area
We are glad that our room has a good view of Mt. Fuji. Looking outside the window was the first thing I did in the morning. The tatami room is spacious and clean. Both the house and the environment are quiet and peaceful.
If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in the countryside yet want modern and luxurious furnishings, this is the place. A beautiful and spotless house that feels new and is equipped with ample heating/air con, fancy coffee machine and oven, large TV, jacuzzi, etc. I particularly enjoyed the quiet of the forest and fresh cool air while standing on the deck. You definitely need a car, the house is pretty isolated. I
It is a convenient quiet locale to be able to access the Fuji Lakes, Hakone Parks or for mountain climbing and hiking on Fuji-san..
Property was luxurious with high end material throughout and full amenities including unlimited full on kitchen with beer on tap, breakfast provided fresh each morning, a home cinema for your raining days and even a sauna to relax after hiking.
