It is very surprised that I can find and check in to the Mr. 梅谷 s house, it is really wonderful. The house owner is so kind and offered many help to us even during the heavy snow night. Definitely gonna go for a second time and more! Actually, this house has more than 140 years of history, it is called Oshi house, in the ancient time, about 100 years ago, this kind of house offers help to travelers to climb Mount Fuji, and provide all kinds of help for them. Now, it is the only one remaining in the Fuji Kawaguchiko area. Very special!

We had an amazing stay at this lovely spot near Mount Fuji! The building may be old, but it’s clean and well-maintained, giving the place a cozy, home-like feel. I especially loved the traditional style of the accommodation, it really added to the authentic experience. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend!

Our exploration of the nearby surroundings on the complimentary bicycles was enhanced by their excellent condition, overcoming any initial hesitation I had. This experience became a precious opportunity to connect with our children in a relaxed manner. Our stay was nothing short of delightful, prompting us to plan a return in September. The captivating view from our bedroom balconies only added to the charm, as captured in the photos we highly recommend checking out. Despite not sticking to our initial plans due to the sheer enjoyment of our stay, our two days were incredibly relaxing. Sleeping in late was a testament to the comfort and pleasure we found during our time there. A short stroll to the Chureito Pagoda and a bike ride to Yamanashi provided additional memorable moments, contributing to an overall wonderful experience.

With a nice view of Mt Fuji and also a forest in the background. At night it felt like our secluded little part of Kawaguchiko. The fact that we had our own utensils, cutleries and a stove top made it a much better experience. We could buy convenience store foods and just eat at the cabin or the patio area.

The rooms of this property are very spacious and suitable for our family of 11 (inclusive of 6 adults, 3 teens and 2 elementary kids). In Japan, there are very limited properties with at least 2 toilets and 2 baths/showers that can conveniently and comfortably accommodate big groups like ours. For us, what we consider ideal is one toilet and one bath/shower for every 5 persons. Yoshimura ooike sense is a gem! The cleanliness is superb and the entire property is well-maintained!

My stomach did not feel very well for two days before caming there, but the dinner tasted great and I felt much better next day. Rooms are clean, with great bath and especially, giving you a vibe of a real western style house in countryside! The host couple were so kind and guided me to have roasted marshmellow, this was my first time doing this! On the second day, they also helped me about my one-day trip plan in Kiyosato.
