The rooms of this property are very spacious and suitable for our family of 11 (inclusive of 6 adults, 3 teens and 2 elementary kids). In Japan, there are very limited properties with at least 2 toilets and 2 baths/showers that can conveniently and comfortably accommodate big groups like ours. For us, what we consider ideal is one toilet and one bath/shower for every 5 persons. Yoshimura ooike sense is a gem!
The cleanliness is superb and the entire property is well-maintained!
Open from July 2017, all guest rooms at Asahi feature a Mount Fuji view. Free WiFi access is available throughout the entire property and private parking is offered on site.

Amazing young new-generation sibling owners who were extremely hospitable and attentive to dwellers’ needs — including lending bicycles, offering pick-up services from the nearest bus & train station at no charge.
The living environment and overall facilities (e.g., bath area, common space) were very homely, and brought back memories of staying with my Japanese host family almost a decade back. Other guests were extremely kind and considerate too!

The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
The breakfast was amazing, especially the sunny side up eggs and desserts. We loved renting bicycles to cycle along the lake and enjoyed a late-night visit to the onsen for a peaceful soak. The big garden and trekking path in the hotel added to the charm of our stay.
This quiet hotel boasts spacious rooms with stunning views of Mount Fuji. Despite its peaceful location, it's close to tourist attractions. While the dinner might appear simple, it's surprisingly delicious. It is important to note that although there is an elevator within the hotel, some areas require stairs, which can be difficult to move around with large and heavy luggage.
Less crowded side of Kawaguchiko amongst tourists. Very quiet & peaceful. Right in front of a beautiful park & garden overlooking the lake. View of Fujisan from the room was also great. Staffs were so helpful & friendly! The staffs at the reception were elderly but could all speak good English & super friendly I felt so welcomed! The public bath overlooking the lake & fujisan is a big plus!
Very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful view of Mount Fuji (when it was not cloudy). The outdoor space was brilliant for morning coffee and end of day drink in view of the mountain and the wildlife in the field.
Very modern place with perfect space and facilities. The available BBQ was also perfect for cooking our local beef which was amazing!
Only 10 minute walk from the train/bus station. Some uneven roads including gravel so make sure you are capable of carrying your bags as wheels don't always work. Quiet and peaceful area. Spacious house, lots of space. There were only 4 of us but could have easily slept many more. Kitchen was well equipped.

It was close to key attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it easy to explore the area. Despite its central location, the room was quiet and peaceful.

The view of Mt Fuji from our room was absolutely perfect! The hotel is a little older but room was clean, very comfortable and well laid out. Its a really quiet area so it's very peaceful. We had a rental car to go visit the other lakes during the day which was perfect.
Quiet with great location, right across the road from the Kawaguchiko station. The rooms were clean and the shared facilities like showers and bathrooms were great. The staff made the check in/ out and stay so easy. Not a luxurious hotel but perfect for people wanting to explore the area.
