We had the loveliest time at the Gableview Forest Inn. Satoshi and Elizabeth are so kind and helped us out hugely during our stay. Satoshi is an AMAZING cook. The food was incredible, so I definitely recommend having dinner at the inn! The room was super comfortable, it was great to have our own little kotatsu and the baths at the inn (both inside and the outside one with the forest view) were divine. If we are ever back in Nikko/Japan we will definitely stay again!

The property is equipped with two private bathrooms. Our stay at Sanga Nikko could not have been better! Yoshi is incredibly kind and helpful in every possible way. From the fresh fruits and bikes, to his advise for trains and the Nikko area, our stay was wonderful. He also offers free portrait photos of his guests, as he was a photographer in his previous job! The accommodation is very clean, 3min from train station and main road, and perfectly prepared with everything you possibly need, nothing could be improved. The Japanese room has futons which are very comfy and softer than expected, and very warm comfy blankets were provided during winter. Very clean bathroom and kitchen as well, with lots of included amenities (toothbrush, coffee, hairdryer, razor, laundry machines, etc) We will definitely stay again here when we visit Nikko! Free Wi-Fi is provided in the whole building. The location is superb good,near to Nikko tobu station. Value for money ,4 bunk beds per room is ideal,very comfortable.

It is completely non-smoking, and free private parking is available on site. A beautiful lodge to stay in. The star is the onsen - there are 2 onsen rooms in a separate building outside with a maple tree on the walk out. There is a clever light system that allows you to know when the onsens are in use by other guests - plenty of time to be able to use. The onsen rooms are beautifully built and were such a delight to use - there was a private outside space for one of them as well. As the onsens are private, it is fine for people with tattoos to use. There is a large communal area where you have breakfast and can also relax and prepare other meals. Hot and cold water available as well as microwaves and toaster for preparing meals. There is a lovely children's play area as well. Breakfast is served in the morning with a choice of different pastries and drinks that you order the night before. The owner is very accommodating and friendly. Good location - 10 minutes by bus from Tobu Nikko station, 5 minutes by bus to the shrines, temples and Shinyko bridge, 5 minute walk to Daiyu river and about 30-40 minutes by bus to Lake Chuzenji. The beds were comfortable and there was good amount of space for storage in the rooms. Table, chairs and TV in each room.
