The owner was such a lovely person, she went through the sightseeing of Nikko and showed us the house. The room was typical Japanese style with futon. She was so kind and prepared and offered a delicious breakfast, she also gave us an origami as fortune gift

The room was spotlessly clean, and the landlady went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She cooked us a delicious breakfast, took me to a supermarket, and even dropped us off at the train station. Her kindness and hospitality made our stay truly memorable. We had a great time and would highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming experience in Japan!

Gableview Forest Inn asub Nikkos, Tobu Nikko jaamast 2,8 km ja Nikko jaamast 3,2 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on ühine puhkeruum, tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. The hosts! Super welcoming and helpful. Even though they get busy with all the other guests, they always take the time to give you many advice or help. The dinner is delicious and breakfast although simple very fulfilling (and for both of them they don’t charge a lot!) The room are spacious, clean and a personal touch from the host for the decoration which I love. Didn’t try the baths, but seem very relaxing and intimate (for 2 persons max) The house is surrounding by trees, very peaceful.

Okunikko Guesthouse JUN asub Nikkos, Kegoni joast vaid 1,1 km kaugusel. Majutusruumidest avaneb vaade mägedele. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. The location is good close to the lake and between the waterfall and the temple at the lake. The buses can bring you in 30 minutes to yumoto onsen where Mt. Shirane is. Also Mt. Nantai is very close. The guesthouse was very clean. No towels were available but this was not a problem for us. You can rent some if you need. In the common area is a piano and we were allowed to play, it was wonderful. The staff even showed us how he played shamisen! It was one of the nicest guesthouses I ever been to!

The room was very spacious, had an amazing bathroom with a large tub, the room itself had beautiful tatami flooring and the terrace overlooked a peaceful forest with a creek (perfect for sitting outside with a drink!). There were also all the amenities one needs, from tea to beautifully scented bath salts. We also appreciated the yukatas in the room, they were super comfortable and really sealed the feeling of authenticity. The breakfasts were delicious as well (we tried both the American one and the Japanese one). Finally, a big thank you to Izumi-San who drove us to and from the train station and was a very gracious host who paid attention to every little detail! We hope to return one day to his wonderful B&B.

Sanga Nikko asub Nikko linnas, 2,1 km kaugusel Nikko Toshogu pühamust. Tubades on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Kegoni juga jääb 10 km ja Nikkō-kokuritsu-kōen 22 km kaugusele. Yoshi is a wonderful host, very respectful and humble too! Upon checking in, it brought we smiled when he asked if we required 'quick' check in (5 min), minimal explanation n introduction from him, or 15-20 min where he would share his list of restaurants and to visit locations. Though bathrooms are not attached to bedrooms, it was very clean, and comfortable. It also allowed us to meet and greet our other housemates too!

Aiaga Midorian asub Nikko rahvuspargis. Nikko Toshogu pühamu on umbes 1,5 km, Kegoni joad 8 km ja Futarasani pühamu 16-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel. Mäevaatega külalistemajal on terrass. It was an amazing stay! The house is very nice and cosy, everything is very clean. There is a little kitchen to prepare some simple things. We slept on futons, which was very comfortable and a great was to experience a bit the Japanese culture. The house is also perfectly located, it’s a 15-20min walk to the supermarket and famous Nikko temples. Bus stop is about 10 min away. The host was very friendly and helpful, we also had a great time spending one evening together in the common area :) Overall, we are very greatful for this experience and such a fun stay in Nikko!

Tasuta WiFi-ühendusega Stay Nikko Guesthouse pakub majutust Nikkos. Tobu ja JR liinide Nikko jaam on 13-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla. The room was impeccable and fully equipped with appliances and kitchen equipment, We were able to buy some premade mean from the nearby supermarket and use the microwave there to heat up our food.

Külalistemaja Sumica asub JR Nikko raudteejaamast vaid 3-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel ning pakub nii ühistubades kui ka Jaapani stiilis privaatsetes tubades voodikohti. It was a splendid stay, with the owner truly being the friendliest. I loved the room and the company as guests stayed downstairs to talk from 9:30 till 11:30. It was truly an experience.
