The owner is very friendly and helpful. She showed us places where we could eat and gave us a map with the bus timetable. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfy. I think it was my best sleep in any hotel I have ever stayed in. There is also an electric heater under the futon, if you need one. Just like other reviewers mentioned, In the morning we were given a breakfast that was not included in the price. It contained meat, bread, multiple vegetables and fruits. Again, the best breakfast I ever had.

The host was very welcoming and accommodating. Traditional provided breakfasts were wonderful. She even drove us to a shrine on the first day to make sure we could get to it before it closed. This was a perfect stay house for a couple looking to get away from the bustle of a hotel.

They are knowledgeable and gave us wonderful suggestions about what we could see in Nikko.

Comfortable and clean accommodation. The staff person was very nice and made sure we had what we needed. Good location, walkable to many sights and cafes.

B&B Izumi Nikko features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Nikko, 2.4 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine. We absolutely loved our stay at B&B Izumi Nikko, and Izumi-san was an exceptional host. He answered all of my questions promptly before the trip and kindly gave us rides to and from the train station, as well as to dinner. The Japanese breakfast he prepared was delicious and filling with the freshest ingredients. The traditional room was perfect, offering a serene escape. It includes a lovely bath and large room to unwind after a busy day of hiking. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning on the private balcony sitting out by the beautiful creek and we even saw some wild deer. The location is also a quick walk to a bus stop that we took up to Lake Chuzenji so it was very convenient. Our stay was definitely a highlight of our 3-weeks in Japan. Thank you Izumi-san for such a wonderful stay!

Fantastic location, wonderful and helpful host - it felt like home. The pictures on the booking site does not do this place justice - it was so nice. And there is even a light breakfast.

Featuring 1-star accommodation, Nikko Guesthouse Sumica is located in Nikko, 300 metres from Nikko Station and 300 metres from Tobu Nikko Station. Friendly staff lots of great suggestions where to go, lovely accommodation, it was one of my favorite stays on my whole trip. I will stay here when I return.
