The host was very welcoming and accommodating. Traditional provided breakfasts were wonderful. She even drove us to a shrine on the first day to make sure we could get to it before it closed. This was a perfect stay house for a couple looking to get away from the bustle of a hotel.

It was really nice getting to chat with the owners when we got there. They were really welcoming and it was kind of like staying with family. When I got sick, I was given medicine and made sure I felt alright. They helped us find food and recommended a great place that was nearby and gave us extra snacks when we left. The art throughout the building is beautiful and if you are interested the owners will talk with you about what is there. The baths were a nice temperature and we never felt rushed.

B&B Izumi Nikko features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Nikko, 2.4 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine. We loved our two days staying in this amazing B&B. Like all the reviews highlight he is so happy to ensure you have the best time in Nikko. Izumi offered to pick us up from the station when we arrived which was great. The following day he dropped us off at the train station so we could sort out bus passes etc. He kindly dropped us back at the station in the morning we left. The room is very big & very comfortable & the balcony is amazing overlooking the forest / stream. The bath was great & the bath salts are to die for. Overall a most wonderful time. We will definitely return on our next visit.

Fantastic host, very helpful and friendly. Very authentic accommodation, with everything we needed. Quiet location, very peaceful.

The room was impeccable and fully equipped with appliances and kitchen equipment, We were able to buy some premade mean from the nearby supermarket and use the microwave there to heat up our food.

Homely rooms with mountain views, free Wi-Fi and a private bath await guests at Villa Revage, 350 metres from Nikko Botanical Garden. Everything! The breakfast was pre-ordered and limited to 6 items per person (including infant). The atmosphere was really cosy and welcoming, it was great to have a common lounge to relax and 2 individual bathhouses for utilisation. There are some beverages and access to microwaves, oven, hot water flask in the lounge. Also, it is great that it had a small children section with suitable furniture. You can ask for the shuttle to a nearby restaurant but you will need to make your own way back. The bed and breakfast owner's family are staying in-house. So the owner is always readily available when called.
