The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, room service and organising tours for guests. One of the highlights of my stay in Kyoto. I had a warm welcome. The rules are explained to me very clearly. I had a personal locker, which was large. The bed was quite comfy too. The facilities are very clean, Owners are great people and good communicators. Please ask them about what to do/see/taste in Kyoto, since they are very knowledgeable about the topic. Will stay again the next time I am in Kyoto.
