Located in the centre of Kyoto, 雅 is a recently renovated accommodation, which provides soundproof rooms. The air-conditioned accommodation is less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station. The property was extremely clean and comfortable . The room looks like traditional Japanese houses with tatami mats. The vibe really blends well with Kyoto! The location is also exceptional, you can walk to Gion and walk to the shopping areas . Most importantly, the owners are extremely friendly, they make sure we felt welcomed and even bring our suitcases to our room. This is one of the best stay I have ever had in Kyoto. If you are choosing some other hotel, I recommend you come here. I will definitely come back again!

Everything, from the kindness of the host to the atmosphere. The little garden behind the room was amazing and relaxing. We had to spend time in the room because of the weather so it was amazing to feel at home. There was the chance to rent the bike from the host (normal and electric ones) and it was beautiful to visit Kyoto in a different way.

六根ゲストハウス Rokkon guest house features accommodation located less than 1 km from the centre of Kyoto and offers a garden and a terrace. Lovely and thoughtful host that made us feel right at home. The breakfast is delicious and the room very cozy.

The interiors of the old house have been well preserved. I especially loved the bath. It also is right smack in the middle of everything. Only a five minute walk from the nearest bus stop that conveniently takes you to the shopping center of the city.

The inn’s location couldn’t have been better. Situated in close proximity to the subway, it made exploring Kyoto’s treasures a breeze. We appreciated the convenience of being able to easily access the city’s attractions while still enjoying a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. All in all, our stay here was a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and convenience. We can’t recommend this place enough and look forward to returning in the future. Family Inn Kei 慶 features accommodation within 3.2 km of the centre of Kyoto, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with an oven, a microwave and a toaster. The staff explained the details of the stay in detail. There is an exclusive parking space, but you need to pay for it, but the price is reasonable. There is an elevator, which is very convenient. There is also a free game console at the elevator entrance. The room is clean, with a washing machine, and there are many clothes drying racks. There is also a balcony for drying clothes. For us, it is a very good accommodation experience.

Had a wonderful time meeting other solo traveller ladies who were all so kind and considerate and friendly. Felt like I was coming home each day, and was sad to leave! There was even a foot massage machine which was such a treat each day.
