The hosts were very friendly and helpful and kind to our children; they made the stay feel like a family visit. We loved the big room with comfy beds and a tatami breakfast area. We also liked the onsen-style private bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and different every day. The location was in a small quiet street close to the bus- and train station, and for the people with more stamina even within walking distance of the old town and central shopping areas.

Family Inn Kei 慶 features accommodation within 3.2 km of the centre of Kyoto, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with an oven, a microwave and a toaster. The service was excellent. The owner was incredibly kind! We wanted to send some luggage to our next accommodation and and helped us by driving to office of the company which sends luggage, which was 20 minutes away by car, so she drove 40 minutes just for us!!! Also, the beds were nice, there was a small balcony and a little stove, as well as a washing machine.

Lovely guesthouse, centrally located and near to many transportation. Rooms and facilities are very clean. Quite and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay.

Attractively located in the Shimogyo Ward district of Kyoto, Hachi Inn is situated 1.3 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple, less than 1 km from Kyoto Station and a 16-minute walk from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan... 10 minute walk from the station. Our room on the 5th floor had beds rather than futons on the floor. There was a microwave and kettle in the room which was clean. The staff spoke reasonable english and were helpful.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Kyono Mori Yurinsha is set in Kyoto, 1.7 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple and less than 1 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall. This is a best place to stay in Kyoto! Owners are extremely nice, polite and their homemade cooking and baking is heavenly! Do yourself a favor and book breakfast with them. We spent 4 night at this place and I couldn’t be happier. Room are cozy and spacious for Japanese standards, position of the place is nearby subway station and near 7-eleven. Mattress of the bed was nice and firm, wifi, hot water reliable, and the whole place for spotless clean. I wish the owners only the best customers!

Machiya Hotel YANAGI features accommodation within 1.6 km of the centre of Kyoto, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with a microwave, a fridge and a stovetop. Amazing place - totally loved it. Great vibe, great space. Interesting location.
