Located in the centre of Kyoto, 雅 is a recently renovated accommodation, which provides soundproof rooms. The air-conditioned accommodation is less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station. The owner was very welcoming and responsive, which I truly appreciated. The room itself was lovely, with private shower and toilet. There’s also a kitchen available for guests. And I also enjoyed the pleasant incense on the first floor :)

Set in Kyoto, less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station and a 13-minute walk from Kiyomizu-dera Temple, 東山の宿 藤屋 offers air conditioning. The hosts were very nice and kind. They gave us useful tips what to visit in Kyoto. The room was clean and comfortable - we really enjoyed sleeping on the futons. The location was perfect, most of the sights were in walking distance, which meant we could enjoyed them in the late evenings without the crowds.

Family Inn Kei 慶 features accommodation within 3.2 km of the centre of Kyoto, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with an oven, a microwave and a toaster. The room was big and clean. It looked alot better than on the pictures. The staff was really nice. There was space to put the luggage so the room was always tidy. Highly recommend.

Very clean and nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable and the apartment is really spacious compared to other places I’ve stayed in Kyoto, will definitely stay again!
