Welcoming drinks at the arrival, sparkling wine at the room. Spacious room with huge bed and even bigger pillows. Free access to the natural pools. As pools were too cold for us, we enjoyed the jacuzzi zone on the hotel roof. Breakfast was nice, with many fruit options and a nice view. Good value for money.

There is a private entrance at the aparthotel for the convenience of those who stay. The aparthotel has family rooms. Everything about this apartment was amazing. I can’t recommend it enough. The setting is beyond spectacular, well worth the extra drive from Funchal. The village is quaint and friendly, with a food market just up the street and beautiful trails nearby. The apartment is large, yet still cozy, and well maintained. And the hosts are wonderful. I can’t say enough about this apartment. It exceeded my expectations in every way. I’m hoping to be back as soon as possible.

Apartments were renovated keeping the original layout of the building and adding modern comforts as free High Speed Internet access. We stayed here two nights, directly after arriving in Funchal. The appartment (we booked the one with the roof terrace) was very big. It was nicely decorated and very well equipped. We felt like at home. We were very pleased to find a welcome pack of wines that we enjoyed very much on the terrace. The location is very central, you can reach most sights walking from the apartment. We are happy to have stayed here and would definitely come back when we are in Funchal next time.
