Staff was super friendly and helpful. Welcoming drinks at the arrival, sparkling wine at the room. Spacious room with huge bed and even bigger pillows. Free access to the natural pools. As pools were too cold for us, we enjoyed the jacuzzi zone on the hotel roof. Breakfast was nice, with many fruit options and a nice view. Good value for money.

I can’t recommend it enough. The setting is beyond spectacular, well worth the extra drive from Funchal. The village is quaint and friendly, with a food market just up the street and beautiful trails nearby. The apartment is large, yet still cozy, and well maintained. And the hosts are wonderful. I can’t say enough about this apartment. It exceeded my expectations in every way. I’m hoping to be back as soon as possible.

Located in Funchal, Apartments Madeira Old Town are a 5-minute walk to the beach and to the Funchal old town. Luciano and Sarah were 2 wonderful "hosts" ... always available and very kind .. perfect apartment, comfortable, quiet and with the plus of free internal parking ... if you intend to visit the splendid island of Madeira, the best place (logistically) is Funchal and these apartments are in an excellent position, very close to the center but out of the confusion! if (and when) we return to Madeira this is where we will stay!

Overlooking the lush Municipal Garden, The Wine Lodges by An Island Apart offers apartments in Funchal city centre. Very beautiful place with nice atmosphere. Self checkin and checkout was very handy because we came very late and leaved very early. Location was amazing. There was a terrace with view of city or see. We had 2 botles of local vine waiting for us in the kitchen. what was nice supprice. Included was also coffe, still wather and some fruits.
