Hotel Märthof Basel features a fitness center, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Basel. Each room at the 4-star hotel has city views, and guests can enjoy access to a sauna and a hammam. In our trip we stayed in 12 Hotels and this has to be one of the most Beautiful hotels and rooms we booked. The Staff was EXTREMELY ATTENTIVE AND HELPFUL. The restaurant was very good. Location is Perfect. 20/10.

Wonderful and helpful staff, which was exceptionally friendly and professional, provided very helpful tips for stay/ area/ outings, with great communication. Learned, that the building has a lot of interesting history. Impeccably clean place. Spacious room and bathroom. Tasty, high quality and varied breakfast. Located in a (quiet, high quality) pedestrian zone, but accessible by car to drop off bags. Just a very short walk to the lakeside promenade, with lots of restaurants, and the boat landing. We had a great couple of days there and loved the area.

The service at breakfast are excellent shout out to maggie who is always helpful and smiling we love her! most people at breakfast are really nice. The spa is amazing and staff at the spa has excellent service too. Lara at reception is great.

Loved the how easy the self-check in was! Enjoyed the flavored water & fresh fruit provided. Room was super clean, we will come back!

A modern property situated in a convenient area. The beds are so comfy I wish I could have stayed more than one night. The breakfast was wonderful! There is an EV charger at the back but you may need your own cord. I will be back again soon.
