The hotel is located at walkable distance, appx. 300 meters from Grindelwald station and having scenic view of Jungfrau mountains. The staff were polite and helpful enough to provide umbrellas during rains. Buffet breakfast was also good.

I liked that the property was a little removed from the main center of town. I liked having a patio to sit on and look at the mountains. The restaurant was very good. Staff was very helpful.

Great location for walks and perfect location for riding a motorcycle around the passes, which is why we stayed in Grindelwald. There are plenty of shops, cafes & restaurants to eat in. There are plenty of activities to enjoy while staying here too, swimming at the local pool. Cable car rides, which have fantastic views. Paragliding for those who have a head for heights. Great bus & trains services too. We eat in our hotel called Hotel Restaurant Alpina, plenty of choice on the menu and s great view of the Eiger to.

Charming little town.
Charming little town. Fantastic dining options, lots of shopping for Swiss souvenirs. Beautiful hiking, virtually unlimited, in the surrounding mountains. Would love to come here to ski in the winter.

Grindelwald is located in a picturesque mountainside conveniently located very close to the train station and multiple attractions. Bebbi’s was a fun dining experience. The tram ride to Pfingstegg was unique, the car itself old fashioned in decor and even had alpine music playing. Unfortunately there was construction ongoing at the train station while we were there.

One of the most stunning locations we have been to.
One of the most stunning locations we have been to. We purchased the 3 day pass allowing us to travel by train, bus, cable care and boat, up and down the different locations all from Grindelwald. We were there for the start of summer but take your thermals 😂. Harder Klum and Top of Europe were the other two standout locations. If the weather is not so good use the web cams for the locations to see what is the best option for that day. Takeaway Pizza from 191 was the best pizza we had there. Our hotel hosts were fantastic !!!

I thank myself for staying in Grindelwald rather than Interlaken. It is a much more peaceful and lovely village, surrounded by mountains, wildflowers, and chalets. I enjoyed strolling through the neighborhood every day. Cooking in the chalet with your loved ones and sharing food with the view will be a great memory for you.

Beautiful views of the Swiss green and the snow mountains alike. Highly recommend Jungfraujoch , Grindelwald first, brienz lake cruise in specific. Do know that you would have to pay local tax in addition but can use the hotel card to claim some discount if you’re shopping / eating something .
The perfect stay at Grindelwald, the view from our room was unbelievable.
The hotel had lots of character and the room was very cozy.
The lady at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating which made our stay great.
They gave instructions on how to get to the hotel which was very helpful.
The food was great, they host a delicious dinner.

The hotel is located quite far from Grindelwald (centre), so it's a reasonable solution if you travel by car. The hotel and restaurant staff is very friendly. The 3 stars of the place match the quality here. The views from the hotel room are really great. Overall quite nice stay and good value for money.
Amazing location, close to most activities around Grindelwald. The room was cosy and spacious. Spa facilities were maintained to a high standard. The hotel staff even remembered my birthday and gave me a really nice card and small cake which made the stay even more memorable.
Good breakfast with selection of espresso-based coffee and variety of juices, staffs were friendly. Rooms size was adequate. Location was right in front of Grindelwald First, Gondola Station. Bus station for both direction are right in front of the hotel.
Very good value for money. The evening meals were great and very reasonably priced. Excellent breakfast.
Super views from the hotel. Free bus 121 from right outside the hotel to the centre of Grindelwald.😀
