The rooms are beautiful, the view is amazing, the staff are absolutely lovely. The private hot springs are great. This place is very charming - even magical. Experiencing Biwako Hanakaido felt like experiencing proper Japanese traditions/customs. It felt like a privilege. It's a truly rare and amazing experience that isn't easy to come by. I highly recommend spending a night or a few here.

Biwako Ryokusuitei offers Japanese-style/Western rooms with Lake Biwako views, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. La stanza è molto grande e molto curata e confortevole. Lo staff soprattutto all'accoglienza è incantevole come solo le maniere giapponesi possono essere. La onsen è abbastanza grande, sia interna che esterna e una zona relax con bevande e ghiaccioli da cui si può ammirare il lago. La colazione è un po' ostica per un europeo essendo abbastanza tipica, come anche la cena che comunque qualitativamente è ottima.

The view is extraordinary, also the water's heat is very fine. The full set dinner also gives lots of Japanese taste I was looking for. There's also transportation provided by Yumotokan for arriving and departing customers to the nearest station.

The view was beautiful and the open air bath was amazing, really recommend staying here, it's worth the money. We also had the half board included which was very tasty. Overall amazing stay, would love to come back.
