Amazing stay, so peaceful and clean. Staff were wonderful and gave us lots of unique experiences (like the sparklers!). They went above and beyond to accommodate us, which we really appreciated. Food was delicious and the onsens were gorgeous.

My wife and I were visiting Japan and in search of a nature retreat from Tokyo for a few nights, and this resort exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The room was quiet and serene, the baths had stunning views of the surrounding mountains, and the food was impeccable. The service was so thoughtful as well; on our last day we were snowed in and couldn't get back to Tokyo, but the hotel made sure we could extend our reservation one night and offered a complimentary taxi to the train station the next day. Hope to be back again one day!

You can play table tennis at this 3-star ryokan. Wonderful facility, very well maintained. Great views of the Japan sea from the huge lounge. Wonderful and helpful staff - if you don't speak Japanese, no problem. the staff speaks some English, communicates thru translation apps and clear gestures. fantastic room with an ocean view! lovely onsen. I was stunned by the huge variety of foods at dinner and breakfast buffets. We don't have this in the US. If I had I known how great the whole experience would be, I would have booked an extra night.
