Also loved the sake pairing of our French dinner.

Staff were wonderful and gave us lots of unique experiences (like the sparklers!). They went above and beyond to accommodate us, which we really appreciated. Food was delicious and the onsens were gorgeous.

Everything was so serene and pretty. The staff were Very kind and welcoming. They found out it was our anniversary and made us a special dessert! We have all kinds of food restrictions and they took them all into consideration. The room was amazing and had a beautiful veiw. The food was very good and all locally sourced. 100 percent would recommend this ryokan! The onsen in the room was so peaceful and the common one had a view to the mountains

Located in Yuzawa and only less than 1 km from Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort, Takahan provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. This is a great hotel with beautiful design, history and plenty of facilities. The staff was very helpful with the shuttle bus and our arrangement with exchanging guest at the middle of our stay.
