The property is close to several noted attractions, around a 5-minute walk from Matsushima Fish Market and around 600 metres from Godaido Temple. Shiogama Fish market is 6 km from the hotel and Zuigan-ji Temple is a 10-minute walk away. We stayed in room with private bath. It was so nice to bathe in open air and nice view of bay. Beautiful spacious Japanese room.

Sanjiro Ryokan is a 5-minute drive from Zao Blueberry Farm and Zao Kokeshi Doll Hall. Eboshi Ski Resort is a 15-minute drive away. The staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming. They were prepared to deal with guests of the world via technology and an open-minded attitude. The food was a delicious collection of the local ocean's best and the service excellent and friendly. We had an amazing time there, especially for a first stop on our Japan journey. Thank you! :D

Buffet Breakfast was excellent with a range of Japanese and western foods available. Included evening meals provided a great range of local cuisine. The Onsens were terrific with 180 degree views of the bay, as were the rooms.
