Everything from the location to the palatial size of the room to the tattoo friendly onsen, too bad I wasn't aware of an evening meal served there. The owners are the real treasure there, I wouldn't think twice about recommending this place to anyone interested in visiting Matsushima.

Sakunami Onsen Yuzukushi Salon Ichinobo ligger ca. 27 km fra Sendai City Community Support Center og har bjergudsigt, have og terrasse. Beautiful property. Wonderful staff. All very helpful and friendly. The public baths were wonderful. Outside baths were 2 different scenarios, one was gorgeous with five separate river rock soaking areas overlooking the river and forest, the other was 1 wooden tub in a small pavilion. Women have the beautiful spot afternoon/evening and swap with the men in the morning. Our room was very large and comfortable with a balcony and private soaking tub. The buffet style dinner and breakfast were delicious. Huge variety of freshly prepared foods. All you could eat and drink, beer, wine, various alcohol, sake, in the restaurant. The reception area had a piano, wood burning central fireplace to sit around. There were small tables with various board games, a library, snacks, beer and wine. Comfortable seating overlooking the hillside that was lit up at night. Very romantic spot to go for a special night.

Tokinenoyado Yunushiichijoh ligger i bydelen Kamasaki Onsen i Shiiishi, 15 minutters kørsel fra Shiroishi Station og Shiroishi-Zao Station. Der er restaurant på stedet. Where to begin? The room was excellent in size and had a nice feeling to it. The onsen was close by. The staff was so kind and service minded. The whole experience with dinner and breakfast was exceptional, especially the staff member whom served us with excellent English. Just the whole experience was quite wonderful.

Suzukiya Ryokan tilbyder indkvartering i Shiroishi. Der tilbydes gratis transport fra/til JR Shiroishi Station eller Shiroishi Zao Station efter anmodning. Samtlige værelser har fladskærms-tv. The room, the onsen, the food and the services were all excellent!

This is the best Japanese experience The surrounds are luxurious and subdued The staff are very friendly and helpful The food is excellent and a truly superb Japanese experience A place to really relax

TAOYA Akiu ligger i Sendai og tilbyder 4-stjernet indkvartering med udendørs badekar. Denne ryokan tilbyder gratis privat parkering og døgnåben reception. Ryokanen har varmt kildebad og elevator. Everything was perfect. From the onsens to the food and the facilities, there wasn't one thing we would change or complain about. Definitely was the highlight of our trip.

Tabist Business Ryokan Duck Ishinomaki Hebita ligger i Ishinomaki, 37 km fra Shiogama-helligdommen og 49 km fra Sendai City Community Support Center. We loved the decor, and the graciousness of the owners. We would return.
