Everything from the location to the palatial size of the room to the tattoo friendly onsen, too bad I wasn't aware of an evening meal served there. The owners are the real treasure there, I wouldn't think twice about recommending this place to anyone interested in visiting Matsushima.

Beautiful property. Wonderful staff. All very helpful and friendly. The public baths were wonderful. Outside baths were 2 different scenarios, one was gorgeous with five separate river rock soaking areas overlooking the river and forest, the other was 1 wooden tub in a small pavilion. Women have the beautiful spot afternoon/evening and swap with the men in the morning. Our room was very large and comfortable with a balcony and private soaking tub. The buffet style dinner and breakfast were delicious. Huge variety of freshly prepared foods. All you could eat and drink, beer, wine, various alcohol, sake, in the restaurant. The reception area had a piano, wood burning central fireplace to sit around. There were small tables with various board games, a library, snacks, beer and wine. Comfortable seating overlooking the hillside that was lit up at night. Very romantic spot to go for a special night.

Tokinenoyado Yunushiichijoh er staðsett í Kamasaki Onsen-hverfinu í Shiroishi, í 15 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Shiroishi-stöðinni og Shiroishi-Zao-stöðinni. Where to begin? The room was excellent in size and had a nice feeling to it. The onsen was close by. The staff was so kind and service minded. The whole experience with dinner and breakfast was exceptional, especially the staff member whom served us with excellent English. Just the whole experience was quite wonderful.

かっぱの宿旅館三治郎 er með varmaböð inni og úti og ýmis aðstaða, þar á meðal karókíherbergi og gufubað. The staff is very nice and attentive. The dinner is delicious and sumptuous.

TAOYA Akiu er staðsett í Sendai og býður upp á 4 stjörnu gistirými með baði undir berum himni. Þetta ryokan-hótel býður upp á ókeypis einkabílastæði og sólarhringsmóttöku. Everything was perfect. From the onsens to the food and the facilities, there wasn't one thing we would change or complain about. Definitely was the highlight of our trip.

Tabist Business Ryokan Duck Ishinomaki Hebita er 2 stjörnu gististaður í Ishinomaki, 37 km frá Shiogama-helgiskríninu og 49 km frá Sendai City Community Support Center. We loved the decor, and the graciousness of the owners. We would return.
