Nice Onsen. Dinner and breakfast were very good. We liked the traditional Japanese dinner. Every dish is good like fine dining. Breakfast spread has lots of varieties. There’s local dessert like mochi and it’s so delicious. Of course there’s the mains which are all very good.

Faded grandeur, once a pretty fancy hotel it is now a bit tatty around the edges but that is part of it's charm, lovely big rooms. It's a long way from the station, don't try to walk it if your bag is heavy, just get a taxi. Good ramen place next door. There is a shuttle bus to take you back to the station on departure.

We stayed at this hotel as a base to ski at Onikoube for Powderhounds.com. We were hoping that Naruko Onsen would be a cute little onsen town, and whilst this hotel and a few other hotels were aesthetically nice, the village itself looked really tired and run down.
The room had plenty of space and it was nice that it had an ensuite bathroom.
The main 6th floor onsen was the better looking onsen and we thought we were accustomed to hot onsen, but this one was particularly hot. There was a small outdoor onsen with fake bamboo screening. The indoor onsen was nicer, with its views across the town & mountains.
Matsushima Koumura provides a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 10 km of Shiogama Shrine and 24 km of Sendai City Community Support Center.

Old stylish hotel, Japanese style with onsen and nice bay view.
Experience culture authentically with a stay at this traditional Japanese-style accommodation. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
The staff was very helpful and with excellent English. I had a room in traditional Japanese style, it was huge and comfortable (unless you don't like sleeping on futon). I couldn't go to onsen , but it seemed really nice. And they have really good cosmetics in the bathroom.

We had a very good time at Ooedo Onsen, everything’s lovely, comfortable, onsens are stunning with the mountain view. The room is very spacious and calm. Dinner and breakfast are excellent.
Great location in pretty little town with a few onsen hotels, close to station. Buffet breakfast and dinner good with plenty of choice whether japanese or western. Some great walks nearby and amazing views with leaves turning in October.
Great view from the 7th floor on the mountain range, very varied breakfast buffet, nice semi-private eating arrangements for breakfast and dinner, staff very friendly, the private onsens were often available for use and not overflowing with waiting guests although we were there only a few days before peak fall foliage. We liked the "only refill amenities" service (instead of a full room cleaning) because it gave us privacy while still giving us refills for towels, sweets etc :)
our first impression is staffs who help us at parking. Then we are so surprised it has massage chair in our room. and we impressed in Large Dinner shabu and Tempura ... so WOW. and several thing in Breakfast. We love all that in this hotel and onsen is very well. Clean and nice. We love them all. All staffs are so cute even in garden.
