I chose THIS hotel mainly for the proximity for the Great Smoky Half Marathon start/finish line, and the convenience for exploring the Great Smoky mountains. So it was not a place where we spent our days in, we just needed a place to sleep. But IF/WHEN I do the Great Smoky Half again, I’ll probably stay here again. If I was looking for luxurious rooms with views and hot tubs etc etc, maybe we would have stayed in those log cabins in the mountains, but I wasn’t. And this hotel was just fine for what we needed.
My room was spacious and decorated nicely. The bathroom was well supplied with towels and toiletries. I had work to do and the desk and chair were the perfect spot for me. Had I not been dealing with both a knee and foot issue, the hotel was close enough to walk to restaurants, shopping and the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad depot. Breakfast hours were convenient and the daily offerings were tasty.
Gatlinburg
The room was well equipped. The kitchen had everything you could think of for cooking. The location was great, the heart of the city was a 5 min walk away from the property. One of the national park entrances was a 5 min drive away from the hotel which was great. I'd definitely recommend this property for families who are visiting the Great Smoky Mountains.

Perfect location for visiting the Great Smoky Mountains N.P. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was out photographing every morning so did not partake of the breakfast but the front desk gladly provided me with a coffee maker and coffee for the room.

Hotel is nicely located for those who can have a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains. It's been quiet inside the room, even though outside there's quite heavy traffic. The staff was really friendly and answered all of our questions.

We really enjoyed the free breakfast. Having the balcony off the room overlooking the river, was very peaceful and relaxing. The bird watch was fun with the ducks and Canadian geese. We even saw a bald eagle. At least we think it was a bald eagle.
I highly recommend staying here! The rooms were nice and spacious and very clean. the staff were all so nice and helpful. and the resort is amazing! Theres an indoor and outdoor water park, ice skating, a mini golf area, nice fire pits were you can make s’mores, playground, arcade and they also had the winter fest lights up so that was fun to walk through! All of these activities are included in your stay.

This place is absolutely beautiful. The entrance, the lobby, the courtyard with fire pits and rocking chairs, and the rooms are decorated for Christmas. Beds are very comfortable, great breakfast selection.
