Not much not to like. One of the most pleasant stays I have experienced. Room was larger than expected. Beautiful view of river from private balcony. Breakfast was a great added bonus. Easy access to bypass back to pigeon forge. Only went thru Gatlinburg once and the commute on side streets was not bad at all. I hate traffic but could avoid most of it. Also saw bear within a quarter mile from hotel. Staff was very friendly.

I feel Gatlinburg is a great place to visit for a day trip.
I feel Gatlinburg is a great place to visit for a day trip. The sky lift, wine tastings, restaurants, shopping and proximity to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park is awesome, but I wouldn't stay in downtown Gatlinburg more than a day or two again. Prices are extremely high and poorly marked. The gas stations don't even display their prices.

HillBilly Golf is a Must, Drive up to Roaring Fork it's Beautiful. The Village has the Donut Friar and the fountains as well as Misty Mountain soap and The Celtic shop. Best Little Italian Restaurant was good.
But Lots of overpriced souvenirs stores and food places.
Walking is Extremely Crowded and parking is ridiculous $20 to park
Most attraction are on the expensive side so we chose not to do them. If your on a budget chose wisely and don't let it get to you. If you have no problem with expense then by all means have fun. I do not recommend CCs pizza. They refused to let my husband in because he was not eating and we was not paying for him just to come in to sit.

It's a beautiful and fun town, with a lot of shops, entertainment and live music. The food and the price is pretty decent. However, some rides are over price and parking fees are expensive. Look for all day parking or parking that charge you less than $20 per visit. If you are not staying in downtown area, Uber will be a better options.
I was very pleased with the location of the hotel. I was also very pleased with the overall room and would describe the hotel as excellent in all areas. I had done some research prior to our travel on hotels, activities, and restaurants, but I was even more pleased with the hotel than I had anticipated. I would rate this as the very best hotel to stay when traveling to Gatlinburg. In fact, I will stay at Greystone for all future visits that are to Pigeon Forge as well as Gatlinburg.
Was walking distance to downtown gatlinburg, we rode the trolly to and from the city which was great! The creek sounded beautiful and it was so relaxing to sit on the balcony and listen.
