Stunning room, stunning pools, amazing complementary breakfast. A close walk to the grocery store which was great. The paid airport shuttle was a nice service as well.

Located on Madalena, Pico Island, Caravelas is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean on 3 sides and overlooks Faial Island. It features an outdoor pool, a 24-hour reception, and car rental. The hotel is new with a good bed and bathroom. it is one of the few places on the island with a bathtub. The breakfast is also very good. The staff is attentive and the hotel makes some small actions to surprise clients positively.

Loving Strangers Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Madalena. The air-conditioned rooms provide a mountain view and come with a closet and free WiFi. So much more than a hostel: a real family homestay experience, with a hug! Stefano and Pedro are wonderful hosts, I feel sheepish about not spending enough time in the garden relaxing and conversing - was too busy running around the island! The hostel is on a quiet street in the centre of Madalena, with stunning views over the Pico mountain. Rooms are spacious, each bed is curtained off for privacy, equipped with a power socket, a lamp and a fan, nice firm mattress. All communal areas are clean, and the garden is just awesome! You get a choice of cats to cuddle, and a dog :) The shared kitchen has everything you need for cooking or storing food items. Also, if you have an early start - like, climbing the mountain,- you can have tea, cereal, yoghurt and jam on toast - before the official breakfast time, just tidy up after yourself - but you'll miss the pancakes..... Definitely a hostel-home experience that I recommend and that is firmly on my re-visit bucket list!

Great 4 night stay for 2 couples spending 3 weeks in the Azores. A little tricky to find using Google maps. Ample parking, once we found it!! Easy walk to town along the ocean. Large grocery store and tasty restaurants all within walking distance. We enjoyed use of the kitchen for a couple simple dinners.

The apartment was better than the photos. Much more light and airy feeling than the photos show. Great location if you're looking for quiet, chill place within easy driving to everything on Pico Island. Beautiful view to wake up to. Lovely place to have breakfast and dinner overlooking the ocean everyday. Would definitely stay again.

Incredibly beautiful place! amazing views (to the sea and mountain) and sunsets. Perfectly designed, clean, and equipped apartment. Deborah the manager was extremely helpful with tips and anything we needed. We highly recommend staying in PicoTerrace which made our vacation in the fun Pico island even more great 🙂

Very nicely decorated two-floor apartment, friendly staff (especially Anna) who explained us everything and gave us a lot of recommendations what to do on Pico Island. The apartment is also very close to the sea and has an outdoor terrace. Definitely recommended to have a sea view apartment and a rental car.

Honestly, we loved absolutely everything. The location was absolutely stunning, the view from the bedroom was breathtaking, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen facilities fantastic and it was just perfect sitting outside on the picnic tables for breakfast and dinner overlooking the ocean. The pool area was gorgeous, nice and quiet and we loved the loungers again, overlooking the ocean and natural swimming pools. This has been by far the best accommodation that we have stayed at in the Azores, and the staff were lovely as well.

best island, best guest house, best hosts ! we've had a great time visiting the azores but our time spent on pico and at pico dreams sportsfish was by far the best !
The view , the space in the house, the swimming pool, silence, everything that we need was at house - towels, hair dryer, soap , washing liquid, even coffee.. we didn't expect that the house is so huge, on the second floor 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms plus sofa downstairs, huge space in the kitchen, living room with 2 tables , toilet downstairs, outside sun beds.. blankets if needed, an extra bed with a mattress if needed, a clothes dryer, a dishwasher, but still the most what we loved was the view on the ocean 🐳 wish to be back there , beautiful 😍

Wonderful place to stay! I spent 4 amazing days there! Apartment is located in the mountains, in a quite place! Every morning, evening I heard birds songs! Perfect for relaxing! Apartment equipped good, microwave, coffee machine, towels, etc. The highlight is huge and soft bed AND SPA BATHROOM! it’s located just in front of the bed! It’s made from wood, I was so excited to have it! Definitely recommend it to stay and spend several perfect days in perfect atmosphere

Very nice and quiet "little village" of lava stone houses with nice view on the Pico mountain. Houses are very spacious, very clean and well equipped. Very well maintained, and very friendly guest service. Excellent value for money!
To cut it short: this was our favorite place on a long Portugal/Azores trip. Highly recommended and would really love to return
