Featuring air conditioning, Vila Barca is set in Madalena, within a 10-minute walk from the centre. Free private parking and free WiFi are available. Location was good on the outskirts of town, nice and quiet but not too far The staff was always friendly and helpful. Such nice people! We felt comfortable and at home, and would stay here again.

Situated on Madalena, Pico Island, Caravelas is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean on 3 sides and overlooks Faial Island. It features an outdoor pool, a 24-hour reception, and car rental. I don't understand why so many people are complaining about this hotel. It is as close to the ferry terminal as you can get. , The rooms are clean and tidy. The pool has a nice view on Faial, and is beeing cleaned every morning (and they are probably the only ones having a pool in Pico anyway...) You can walk in less than 5 minutes to all the different tour operators (Diving, Hiking, Whalewatching, Rentalcars....) and restaurants. It is maybe a bit dated, but I felt like they were doing their best at being welcomig. They even organise a mini breakfast buffet from 04 a.m - 7 a.m for people leaving early on hikes or diving tours...! Keep in mind that every Airbnb in the area is more expensive , without offering you room service, breakfast or a pool area. If you come to Pico for its great nature activities, and want an easy hotel, thats your place to go!!

Pico Terramar & SPA in Areia Larga features 4-star accommodation with a bar. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a terrace, as well as a hot tub and a hammam. Lovely place with huge rooms, very clean, good breakfast available and indoor and outdoor pool.

Loving Strangers Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Madalena. The accommodation provides karaoke and a shared kitchen. The most wonderful people in a magical place. Stefan and Pedro have special places in my heart for the rest of time (and Lena and Sophie too!!) They have created an intentionally caring environment where you instantly feel at home. Something I haven't felt in a long time. It's contagious among the other travellers and it was a place we wanted to hang out at after the days of exploring. Always say yes the Stefan's pancakes and the family dinners at night- better than any restaurant on the island. Who knows, maybe you will even get a surprise birthday tiramisu and have 30th bday memories for the rest of your life🥰🥰🥰

Located in Lajes do Pico, Engenho Hostel features free WiFi. All units are equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, fridge, a coffee machine, a shower, a hairdryer and a desk. Very nice location, one of the best in Pico, in my opinion. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets. Plenty of parking spaces and a nice view over the ocean :) The house is very clean and equipped with the basics one might need. The communication was very good, at all times there was a phone number available. And the bonus: books! Books everywhere!! Loved this place so much!

The room was absolutely beautiful, large and fully accommodating - the hostess Patricia went over and beyond our expectations, at every request - the location was perfect!

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area.... Beautiful, peaceful family run place, the owners have eye for beauty. All details were thought to the last detail. Lush gardens. The owners were extremely kind and provided tips about walking/hiking tips, gave restaurant suggestions etc. All guests had breakfast around one big table. This made the place to feel like home, people to discuss and make new friends. Wonderful experience! Remember to visit the lovely ceramic studio next to the O Zimbreiro, run by a family member. Warmly recommended!

Fantastic place, equipped with absolutely everything. Clean and cosy with a fully equipped kitchen and a large bathroom available. Easy to get here even with the local bus and there's parking available as well. Excellent place for starting a hike. I definitely recommend to stay here.
