Loving Strangers Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Madalena. The accommodation provides karaoke and a shared kitchen. Where to start? I was coming from a quite antisocial hostel in São Miguel, so at first I was overwhelmed by how welcoming this place is. You will not leave Loving Strangers without learning a few lessons, making connections and of course, hugs! This is how travel should be, book more than 1-2 nights to really get the best out of it. It’s also super clean, with comfy beds, cool garden, and cute cats.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa do Mar. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Relaxing atmosphere and beautiful view of the sea and Faial island on one side, and of Mount Pico on the other. Hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Ideal location - walkable distance from Madalena center and from several natural pools, and a 10-minute drive from the airport. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would absolutely recommend!

Azores Wine Company features a garden and a terrace in Cais do Mourato. The property has sea and garden views. Lovely architecture and rooms. The setting and surrounding grounds are lovely. Your people are incredible - accommodating and clearly proud of where they are. The food is exceptional. We did the tasting and were in love with every bite. A shout out to Chef, the servers, Daniela, and the entire staff. A heartfelt Obrigada.

Boasting a bar, O Zimbreiro is set in Piedade. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking and luggage storage space. this place is amazing; a must stay if you are on the island of Pico. The hosts are two of the most lovely people and so helpful in all things related to our time on Pico. The property is beautiful. The dinner they host is basically Michelin star worthy. I really can’t recommend O Zimbreiro more highly. Unique and beautiful.

Lovely holiday house, clean, spacious, well equipped, close to the public pool. Wonderful hosts. Realy enjoyed our stay here. Would definitely book it again.
