Location was good on the outskirts of town, nice and quiet but not too far The staff was always friendly and helpful. Such nice people! We felt comfortable and at home, and would stay here again.

I was coming from a quite antisocial hostel in São Miguel, so at first I was overwhelmed by how welcoming this place is. You will not leave Loving Strangers without learning a few lessons, making connections and of course, hugs! This is how travel should be, book more than 1-2 nights to really get the best out of it. It’s also super clean, with comfy beds, cool garden, and cute cats.

Amazing shared kitchen, unbelievable location, super clean place and awesome host !!! Was there for any questions and offered his assistance at every chance.

Rooms are very modern with private terrace and view to the ocean. Very nice breakfast with local produce. Restaurant is worth to try and also wines are really good (but expensive). You can walk to the small village (20 min) with nice restaurant and natural pools for swimming.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area.... this place is amazing; a must stay if you are on the island of Pico. The hosts are two of the most lovely people and so helpful in all things related to our time on Pico. The property is beautiful. The dinner they host is basically Michelin star worthy. I really can’t recommend O Zimbreiro more highly. Unique and beautiful.

Good location on the outskirts of the town - 5 minutes' walk to the shop, 20 minutes to the center. Received early, there is parking right next to the house. Dogs are accepted for free. Very nice hosts, friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable apartments with air conditioning. There is a lot of space in the room, well equipped, a kitchenette, and outside a barbecue place with firewood and coal, a large terrace in front of the room. Perfect for a longer time. It is better to have a car, otherwise you will have to take a taxi. Although there is no direct view of the sea, you can see the peak of the Pico from the road.
