Loving Strangers Hostel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Madalena. The accommodation provides karaoke and a shared kitchen. Stephan and Pedro made me feel like at home. The atmosphere they have created with the dinners & the laughs at the hostel is just something memorable that I will always bring with me. They were also very generous as I had to spend an additional night there and they mounted a tent only for me. I would definitely love to go back, what they are building there is something truly great!

Very nice location, one of the best in Pico, in my opinion. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets. Plenty of parking spaces and a nice view over the ocean :) The house is very clean and equipped with the basics one might need. The communication was very good, at all times there was a phone number available. And the bonus: books! Books everywhere!! Loved this place so much!

I really can’t recommend O Zimbreiro more highly. Unique and beautiful.

Lajes do Pico
A lovely hostel in one of Pico Island's most cool and beautiful villages - Lajes. The staff was incredibly welcoming during check-in, providing multiple suggestions on places to eat and visit. The hostel kitchen is well-equipped for cooking simple meals, with a fridge, microwave, oven, induction hob, small appliances, and kitchenware/cutlery. The decoration is modern and of good taste, with books everywhere :) The rooms were reasonably sized and very clean, with large windows that provided a lot of natural light.

The apartment was better than the photos. Much more light and airy feeling than the photos show. Great location if you're looking for quiet, chill place within easy driving to everything on Pico Island. Beautiful view to wake up to. Lovely place to have breakfast and dinner overlooking the ocean everyday. Would definitely stay again.

Incredibly beautiful place! amazing views (to the sea and mountain) and sunsets. Perfectly designed, clean, and equipped apartment. Deborah the manager was extremely helpful with tips and anything we needed. We highly recommend staying in PicoTerrace which made our vacation in the fun Pico island even more great 🙂

Very nicely decorated two-floor apartment, friendly staff (especially Anna) who explained us everything and gave us a lot of recommendations what to do on Pico Island. The apartment is also very close to the sea and has an outdoor terrace. Definitely recommended to have a sea view apartment and a rental car.

AMAZING HOTEL! Staff was super sweet and the location was beautiful, we were sad to leave because we would have wanted to stay here for a week! Room was impecable and cosy, facilities were amazing!
The room was very clean, the common kitchen was very well equipped. Each room had its own small terrace with chairs and a place to dry your clothes, towels, etc. From the dining area there is a beautiful view of the ocean and São Jorge island. 5 minutes down the street there is a small shop. Can't recommend enough!
The view , the space in the house, the swimming pool, silence, everything that we need was at house - towels, hair dryer, soap , washing liquid, even coffee.. we didn't expect that the house is so huge, on the second floor 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms plus sofa downstairs, huge space in the kitchen, living room with 2 tables , toilet downstairs, outside sun beds.. blankets if needed, an extra bed with a mattress if needed, a clothes dryer, a dishwasher, but still the most what we loved was the view on the ocean 🐳 wish to be back there , beautiful 😍
We stayed 3 nights and absolutely adored the place. Fantastically located and so close to nature, this place seems part of nature itself. Hosts were amazing and made our Pico experience very special. I’m positive we’ll be back next year

A very tranquil location, nice spacious cabin, lots of privacy and places to relax, incredibly kind and helpful staff. They’ve got lots of great info about the island and there’s a partner restaurant that is very nice as well.
