I attended an afternoon tea birthday party and from the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional, friendly, down to earth and that was every single staff member. The grounds are beautiful and well worth exploring. I decided to stay the night rather than a long drive home in the evening and again, the room was perfectly presented with everything that I needed plus more. Cleanliness was superb and the view from the room was wonderful. Excellent shower.

The location and hotel itself are incredible. The staff are extremely helpful and I cannot fault the property. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were superb.
The scenery from virtually any window was superb. The bedroom was comfortable and warm. The staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfast was included which is a bonus. Food and drink available in the pub.
The staff was exceptional! Everyone went out of their way to help us and make our stay very pleasant. Our suite was beautifully decorated and the grounds are lovely (especially love your peonies)!
The place is clean and the view from the lodge is lovely
