With a picturesque location in Ambleside, Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa World Hotel Distinctive, BW Premier Collection features a modern spa and a brasserie. The Staff are so Friendly. The room was a good size at the front. Loved the pool area and outside Jacuzzi which I only just learned was hot!!! Food Amazing. Love Manuel! He rec my haddock brekkie and was perfect. Comfy lounge bar.Booked again for December!!!

Our hotel is perfectly situated with views of Lake Windermere, just a short stroll from the bustling village centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and the boats that travel the length of Windermere, making... Breakfast was excellent, very good Buffett and selections, location was walking distance is everywhere, staff were very helpful, the pool and rooms layouts were fantastic.

Breakfast was served by the open fire. Lots of fresh quality ingredients and great portions to set you up for the day. Room had lots of character and the separate lounge area was great to unwind after a busy day!

The room was large enough, the supplies were sufficient, and the service staff were very kind and tried their best to meet all our needs during our stay. I have to mention Charlie, he is seriously the funniest person I have ever met in the UK. The hot tub should be the biggest feature of this hotel. My wife and I enjoyed it for three whole days and were very satisfied. The price/performance ratio is very good. The hotel is located in the middle of the two towns of Bowness and Windermere, and it is very convenient to walk to both towns. In any case, I will definitely recommend this hotel next time I come to the Lake District, or if my friends want to travel to the Lake District.

This 17th-century Elizabethan inn has a peaceful location in the Troutbeck Valley, with weaving footpaths that link the nearby ancient hamlets. Incredible all round, Sam was the best host we’ve ever had, so welcoming and lovely. The room, food and facilites were top notch!

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are spacious and equipped with everything you would expect in 5 star hotel.

Linthwaite House is situated on a hilltop overlooking Windermere, making it the perfect base from which to explore the scenic surroundings. This is a beautiful hotel, so much attention to detail, we loved all the sculptures and artwork. The gardens were absolutely stunning and very well maintained. The staff were friendly and efficient. we enjoyed our stay very much.
