The facilities were incredible, the staff is super friendly and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend I loved the showers outside of the room. The game drive was also super good. We saw loads of animals, including lions.

Meals and beverages are served in Thakadu's communal dining room, which has wooden floors and a fireplace for colder evenings. Room service can be arranged upon request. The location is very remote and there were tons of animals all around the lodge. We loved the elephants that came to the watering hole each day. The service, food, accommodation, game drives were all excellent and exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to go back!

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The dining and kitchen staff, Chris, Veronica, and David were very attentive to our dietary needs/restrictions and all of the food was wonderful. Rassie, our safari guide, knows the park and animals very well and worked with other guides to get us some wonderful and up-close views of several animals. We also learned quite a bit about the animals and their behaviors from him. The lodge is beautiful, and our room was very comfortable and had a lovely view of the surrounding hills.
