Shepherds Tree Game Reserve is a lodge concession, located on the south western portion of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve and 18 km away from Sun City. Very welcoming staff who went out of their way to make us comfortable. They included special surprises as this was our honeymoon. The view from the room is unbelievable.

We enjoyed the beauty of the property. Marvin was an amazing guide who helped us to see many of the cats. The staff works very hard to make your stay enjoyable!

Situated in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve, this luxurious campsite features air-conditioned tent suites with a private patio. Everything was perfect, from our tent will all the comfort and best view , the friendly staff, the sightings with an amazing ranger, the 5 star food. The best weekend in the bush. We will be back for sure!

All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The dining and kitchen staff, Chris, Veronica, and David were very attentive to our dietary needs/restrictions and all of the food was wonderful. Rassie, our safari guide, knows the park and animals very well and worked with other guides to get us some wonderful and up-close views of several animals. We also learned quite a bit about the animals and their behaviors from him. The lodge is beautiful, and our room was very comfortable and had a lovely view of the surrounding hills.
