Game View Lodge exceeded our expectations. Expected just a normal stay over on route to Augrabies but Game View Lodge was a n experience on its own, felt like a little holiday destination and could have easily stayed longer. It was a really pleasant experience, would definitely stay here again, felt like we were on a game farm and even got to see Champ the rhino.
Absolute amazing place!!! We had our little JR with us, and they had a very comfortable room with a piece of grass.
The rest of the lodge was beautifully furnished, with absolute attention to detail.
It is located on a game farm, and is set up like a Safari Lodge, there are plenty of animals roaming around the grounds.
There is a large grassy area outside the rooms so you have a great view of the game from the rooms.
The rooms are luxurious with large double bed and private bathroom.
My partner and I came to Morakane seeking a break away from the city and serenity and thats exactly what we found. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Danie and were given a warm welcome. From the service, the facilities to the food, it was amazing and I would definitely recommend Morakane Safari Lodge to anyone. We had a great time!
Staff were, as always very friendly. The self-catering unit was very neat and tidy. Cleaners came to clean the rooms and house every morning when we were out. Food at the lodge was excellent! We went for our anniversary and had special requests for our dining in, staff fulfilled these request fully and made up a lovely area for us to eat. The lodges bar is also very affordable and not overly priced. Overall, as always, a wonderful experience staying here.
