We had the most amazing little break. Mark and Mel are so friendly and accommodating. The room is wonderful and when we arrived, we had fresh milk, cold water and coffee. Lavender on the pillows was a wonderful treat, we haven't slept so well in ages. Very big thank you guys. Will recommend highly. Dog friendly! Two gorgeous big doggies who are very social.

The breakfast is superb, and I wish the room had tiles, not carpet. I also hoped to buy beverages at the Lodge since deliveries can't reach the place. Overall, it's a nice cousy place to rest.
Lovely location and setting. Great environment with small game park setting. Welcoming staff team from restaurant to rangers. Lovely lodges although slightly dependent on transfer back to main site. Great to see the filming location for BBCs Wild at Heart.
It is a beautiful resort well situated just outside joburg and Pretoria. Lots of facilities, with one of the best spa's I have ever been to. Great tasting food and an enjoyable golf course! Get Jacob the spotter. He is well worth it, especially if you want some handy golfing tips. New lodges at superb value for money.
Stirling Manor was under renovation, they then transferred to one of their guest lodges called Indlovukazi guest lodge. Indlovukazi is not clean, had no water for some hours, had no internet. Will never consider them as I was not happy at all.
The four-bedroom lodges are spacious and the mini pool per lodge is great to keep the children entertained. The staff were very helpful and acted quickly to the snags we highlighted on arrival.
It is a very peaceful place - a perfect getaway for a comfortable, rustic night in nature. Warm, welcoming staff, a gravel road through the bushveld, and the sound of the river make for a special stay. Offering a different experience to the larger resorts and fancy lodges in the area - one where you feel enveloped by nature.
