The best stay I’ve had in years! 🏝️This is truly a relaxing Island experience and an opportunity for you to unwind in a secluded location. Thank you Sook Peng and Fred for helping my stay feels like home! They have arranged the transfer quite seamlessly, I got picked up from the hotel early morning to the pier and then to the island. The view is truly amazing as the lodge is right in front of the sea. They have everything you need for this Island: kayaks, snorkel masks, beach mats and coconuts (and beer which is a rare commodity in the island)! Thank you Sook Peng for the wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s wonderful to enjoy a hearty home-cooked meal by the sea. I also get to taste some delicious farm-to-table vegetables they’ve grown from their aquaponics farm ♥️ I’ve enjoyed my time on the island, there’s a dive centre 5-min walk from the lodge and it’s convenient if you’d like to join a dive or two. My room is right in front of the sea with a little garden, sun lounge area and a private entrance to the beach. You’re surrounded by nature and animals, I’ve seen cats, cows, tree frogs, big green turtles and more. Just be prepared for mosquitos at night, you can spray the room before you leave for dinner, I’ve also bought a “Deep Woods” repellent and some repellent wristbands which comes in quite handy. There’s no aircon in the room but the island breeze does help, the room is well-ventilated and there’s a fan and cooling machine in the room. Truly an amazing getaway, I must come back again!

The Last Frontier Boutique Resort ligger på en 100 meter hög kulle med utsikt över Kinabatangan Forest Reserve i Bilit, 2 timmars bilresa från den vackra Sandakan. Lodging, meals, guiding... all was superb (including the sightings of pygmy elephants and orangutans). The people at the Last Frontier Resort are very passionate about their jobs and they excel at it. Rodel was a great guide and Jason went out of his way to make sure our onward journey by bus would work smoothly. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Would be 11 out of 10 (if that was a possibility). So if you get the chance - book it :)

Bayu Senja Lodge ligger i Kundasang och erbjuder utsikt över trädgården, gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. its on top of the hill, with a good ciew of the villages snd the mount of KK. Every facilities are available, and the staff was quiet nice too. I enjoyed staying there, and would be willing to go next time.

Borneo Jungle Adventure ligger i Kinabatangan och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi. Som gäst har du tillgång till en terrass och grillmöjligheter. En familjär känsla med personalen. Duktiga guider, visade oss mkt på båtturerna med inlevelse. Framför allt Kay. Då han va mkt kunnig med djuren o alla fåglar.. Maten va god, fick efter önskemål. Vi såg krokodil precis utanför vid bryggan. Även orangutanger utanför restaurangen, häftig upplevelse. På våra båtturer fick vi se en flock elefanter simma över floden.

Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort ligger i Sepilok i regionen Sabah och erbjuder boende med gratis privat parkering samt tillgång till ett bubbelbad. Personalen. Rummet, altanen, duschen. Poolområdet.

Nulu View Cabin ligger i Kundasang i regionen Sabah och erbjuder boende med gratis privat parkering. Great view, superb facilities, clean & comfortable.

Maglami-lami Water House ligger i Semporna och erbjuder boende med utsikt över havet samt en restaurang. Det finns ett fullt utrustat eget badrum med en bidé och tofflor. Location and staff specially front office, kitchen and diving staff

Tampat do Aman ligger i Kudat och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi. Som gäst har du tillgång till en trädgård, en terrass och en restaurang. Howard has created a beautiful lodge intertwined with the surrounding environment, going above and beyond for any guests needs, the wildlife reserve he has created is fantastic for bird spotting and if you're lucky enough to be there when he does his edible and medicinal plants tour and traditional rungus lunch don't hesitate.

Sabah Tea Resort ligger i Ranau och har gratis WiFi och bergsutsikt. I vissa boendeenheter finns ett delat badrum med en dusch samt gratis toalettartiklar, hårtork och tofflor. This was an incredible place. We spent a night in the longhouse and ate in the restaurant. The longhouse was brilliant. It was so exciting to have this experience and it was far more well appointed than we expected with sinks and lights in each room! The open air restaurant that looks out over the tea gardens and Mt Kinabalu is in a stunning setting and the food was delicious..None of us wanted to leave!

Paganakan Dii Tropical Retreat ligger mitt i en regnskog och erbjuder privata stugor samt bäddar i sovsal. Hotellet har en restaurang, gratis Wi-Fi och tvättmöjligheter. The room was basic but loved the way it opened out to the jungle - loved the sounds at night. The staff were great and very helpful.
