Located in Mantanani Island, GreenHouse Lodge provides accommodation with access to a garden. The property boasts reusable plastic materials, using energy-saving lighting and conserving rainwater. Amazing experience! Probably the most unique and beautiful places I have ever had the fortune to stay. Silk sand and crystal clear water! Sook Peng and Fred are wonderful and kind hosts who help to ensure a brilliant stay. They help to organize all the travel arrangements from your lodgings in Kota Kinabalu to the island via car and boat, and it all worked seamlessly. The food that Sook Peng cooked was simply fantastic and some of the best I have had during my whole trip. The lodge is very unique and they take their environmental responsibility very seriously. Staying on the island is a once in a lifetime experience. It’s completely deserted apart from a small village and there are lots of different activities one can do. (Kayak, snorkel, diving, guided walks). We did bonfires at night and spent the days in hammocks just meters from the beach as the local island cows wandered past.

Set atop a 100 metre hill overlooking the Kinabatangan Forest Reserve, The Last Frontier Boutique Resort is located in Bilit, and is located a 2 hour drive from the beautiful Sandakan. What a find! Our stay was just brilliant. A really personalised experience, the food was incredible and all activities were in small groups. We had several different dietary requirements within our group and they catered to this extremely well - lots of variety but each meal was equally delicious! Jason provided the best hospitality we’ve had in 5 months in Asia. He went above and beyond to help us organise the next parts of our trip, booking onward travel for us and giving us some great tips for our upcoming Mt Kinabalu climb! Thank you so much 😊

Every facilities are available, and the staff was quiet nice too. I enjoyed staying there, and would be willing to go next time.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the receptionist was very kind and allowed us to use her mobile hotspot.

Ubytovanie Maglami-lami Water House sa nachádza v destinácii Semporna a má balkón. Každá ubytovacia jednotka má kompletne vybavenú súkromnú kúpeľňu, v ktorej hostia nájdu bidet a papuče. Just living on the water. No sand, no bugs, just simple wooden floor and tourquise sea beneath your feet. And the staff is just one of a kind. If you need anything, they are there to assist you. But if you want your mind to chill, they just let you be. No small talk, no pretended kindness, no hustle. Perfection.

Ubytovanie Tampat do Aman sa nachádza v destinácii Kudat 1,7 km od miesta Pláž Bawang Jamal Beach a 2,8 km od miesta Pláž Kalampunian Beach. We had a wonderful stay at Tampat do Aman- Howard was so friendly and helpful, he showed us around and gave us recommendations what to do and where to eat( Inas café is really good). He cares about the local culture and environment and there is also a little museum about the people there( the Rungus) and their culture. We overall can really recommend staying there!

Nestled along the bank of the Kinabatangan River and tropical lush greenery, the Borneo Natural Sukau Bilit Resort is an eco-resort located in the village of Bilit, Malaysia. The 2 nights, 3 days I stayed here were some of the best days of my life! Absolutely incredible - we went for the nature and were not disappointed - we saw the Borneo Big 5 plus TONS more. Our guide Ryan was the best - his eagle eye and determination meant we were able to see all this. The staff were super friendly and catered for my vegan diet, accommodation is very basic but this is perfect for a few days off the grid, rooms were clean and comfy we even had a large Gecko for company :)
