De greenhouse Lodge ligt op het eiland Mantanani en biedt milieuvriendelijke accommodatie met toegang tot een tuin. Geweldig verblijf gehad op een prachtige locatie. Heerlijk rustig. De eigenaren zijn super aardig en behulpzaam. Wat hebben we hier ook heerlijk gegeten.

Borneo Jungle Adventure bevindt zich in Kinabatangan en biedt een terras, een barbecue en gratis WiFi. Er is een volledig uitgeruste eigen badkamer met douche en gratis toiletartikelen. I would give a score 20 if I could :) I found this place a bit by coincidence and I honestly could not have made a better choice for my stay at the Kinabatangan river. The lodge is near to the river and I felt relaxed and at ease from the first moment I arrived. The rooms have just been renovated and are good value for money. Don’t expect luxury - you are in the midst of the jungle after all - but they are really decent, clean and far better quality than previous jungle accommodations I had in other places. All the meals are included and you will get plenty of delicious fingerlicking homecooked food. I was welcomed with the greatest hospitality by Linda. She is such a lovely and passionate person and cares a whole lot about the lodge and her guests. She will absolutely go the extra mile to be sure that her guests have the greatest experience. I also met the owner of the place who is a very kind and respectful man. I loved the fact that this is a very warm and personalised experience where you get to know a few other people without ending up in a big group. As for the wildlife we saw plenty of beautiful birds, lots of proboscis (and other) monkeys, even orangutans and a mesmerising experience with elephants coming up close to the lodge. It was absolutely phenomenal and I can most certainly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit a bit of the jungle in Borneo.

The Last Frontier Boutique Resort bevindt zich in Bilit, bovenop een heuvel van 100 meter hoog met uitzicht op het bosreservaat Kinabatangan. Every people are so friendly and nice! Hospitality is great. Due to this hospitality, you feel safe and you can enjoy jangle without fear. Sound of insects, birds and nature things are so great in and around guest house. You use all your seances and you find your own new ability. I went with 74 years old grandfather and 70 years old grandmother. They did not expect such a jangle adventure, but they are so happy about this stay and they enjoyed a lot, but you need to take about 500 steps to the guest house though. Now they have more confidence to try everything. We saw many other European tourist on the river cruse boat. Many of them had grey hair. How old you are, you can enjoy this place and experience if you are open to new things. I went with 4, 8, 11 years old kids too. They enjoyed too. They loved pancake so much. Bayu Senja Lodge ligt in Kundasang in de regio Sabah en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Sommige units hebben een eigen badkamer met bidet. Extremely helpful staff members - did our washing for us with a rapid turn around, moved our suitcases to our new room on the second night, helped us with transport to the national park etc. Clean rooms with efficient fan and comfortable beds. Free bottled water provided, with beautiful views of sunset from kitchen and terrace. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

D' Limbai Cottage bevindt zich in Ranau in de regio Sabah en biedt accommodatie met gratis privéparkeren. Bij de lodge kun je gebruikmaken van een terras. Na een tijdje in KK was dit wel echt een verademing. Een prachtig uitzicht op de berg! De man die beneden woont was ook fantastisch. Hij heeft ons super veel informatie gegeven over de buurt en ons ook vanalles getoond.

Nulu View Cabin ligt in Kundasang in de regio Sabah en biedt accommodatie met gratis privéparkeren. Het uitzicht was prachtig, maar verder was er niets bijzonders

Kinabatangan Wildlife Lodge bevindt zich in Sandakan in de regio Sabah en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Irphan was an excellent river and hike guide. Siti was a great host.i

Maglami-lami Water House in Semporna biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de zee en een restaurant. Er is een volledig uitgeruste eigen badkamer met bidet en slippers. De lodge biedt een zonneterras. Just living on the water. No sand, no bugs, just simple wooden floor and tourquise sea beneath your feet. And the staff is just one of a kind. If you need anything, they are there to assist you. But if you want your mind to chill, they just let you be. No small talk, no pretended kindness, no hustle. Perfection.

Tampat do Aman wordt omgeven door weelderig groen en biedt accommodatie in Kg Tiga Papan, op 30 km van Kudat. Tegen een toeslag kan de accommodatie een ophaaldienst regelen (zie de kleine lettertjes).... Amazing place to stay, fantastic owner, close to wonderfull beaches!

Het Sabah Tea Resort @ Cottages is gevestigd in de rustige wijk Ranau en biedt uitzicht op schilderachtige bergen. Deze accommodatie is perfect voor diegenen die van een korte vakantie willen... The place was really huge and suitable for big family gathering.The house and surrounding was clean.The mount Kinabalu view was amazing,it is a private area and u will enjoy the privacy.Definitely will come back.
