Pension Ringo-no Ki is a completely non-smoking property located in Hakuba. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. There is a hairdryer, free toiletries and slippers on site. Yoshi and his wife were the warmest hosts we have met after 6 months of travelling. From the moment we arrived early morning, they took care of us and went out of their way to accommodate us. The pension is very cosy, the room and beds are very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast is simply amazing, so worth it! The private onsen, which can be used one hour per day, is another fantastic bonus, especially after a day of skiing. Do not hesitate to book this place, you will not regret it!

Located just a 5-minute walk from Nozawa Onsen Snow Resort, Marushige provides cosy accommodation with Japanese-style guestrooms, a dining area and shared bath. Seiko went above and beyond to make our experience fantastic. Would happily return, and thoroughly recommend Marushige as a destination for Nozawa Onsen.

A 5-minute drive from Hakuba Happoone Ski Resort, Pension Belnia offers cosy accommodations and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Taka the owner was awesome, and the breakfast, always delicious! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat

A 15-minute drive from Pilatus Ski Resort, chalet-like Nomanomori offers quaint Western rooms. It features a garden with a terrace, free Wi-Fi and a cosy lounge with a fireplace. Delightful cosy b&b with the most friendly, helpful and generous owners. Rooms are not huge but ample for a couple with lovely outlook over the garden. Breakfast is home cooked and delicious, served in a nice dining room with open fireplace nearby. The owners generously offered to serve us a home cooked meal for dinner one evening as we were having difficulty finding an open restaurant. It was delicious. Private bathrooms are small but adequate however they have a great large indoor bath/spa for guests which was so relaxing. Plenty of lovely places to visit, drives, local onsen etc and the owners have lots of local knowledge and information. Really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

A 10-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, guests at Log Cottage Epoch can rent out an entire cottage. Each spacious cottage comes with free Wi-Fi and includes a kitchen and a living room. Amazing onsen! Toshi was incredible and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Situated a 2-minute walk from the Happo Bus Terminal, the completely non-smoking Ski-Kan features a hot-spring bath and hotel-wide free WiFi. Takako-San is the Hostess with the Mostest! She is very friendly and helpful. It is an older property that is kept impeccably clean. Takako provides a delicious little snack each day. We looked forward to seeing what it would be each day. The onsen was hot and refreshing. The location was amazing - walkable to the base of the mountain AND a shuttle bus stop was nearby if you prefer. The whole experience at Hakuba Ski Kan shaped our feelings about Japan…AMAZING.

Hakuba Third Place Lodge was a fantastic stay. The rooms are very spacious, clean along with friendly staff, beautiful location and amenities. Walking distance from the station and Goryu plaza. The Host Akira is very welcoming and knows the area very well so was able to give great recommendations for nearby restraunts and activities. I look forward to staying at Hakuba Third Lodge again ~ ありがとうございました！
