Set in Nozawa Onsen, 22 km from Ryuoo Ski Park and 33 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park, 野沢温泉ロッヂ offers mountain views and free WiFi. Our hosts were lovely and very welcoming, Dredd gave us an amazing rundown of where to find things in Nozawa Onsen with many great recommendations. We went to Nozawa Onsen for skiing and this place had the best location, about a 2 minute walk from the gondola, and with dry room ski storage. The included breakfast was delicious, we loved the Onsen eggs. If you’re keen, the common areas are an amazing place to meet other people skiing, or enjoy the fireplace that’s often on in the evening. The location is very close to some very good Onsen which are amazing after Skiing. Absolutely would stay there again!

Great value and location with the shuttle stop right in front of the property. Breakfast is a must to get you ready to hit the slopes. Chan knows the area very well and provides local tips and insights. Highly recommend.

With Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area reachable in 9 km, Sakka Sanso features accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a shared lounge and a bar. All staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is nice clean and spacious. The foods at the site restaurant were great. I felt so good to sink into warm bath pool after I had snowboarding for whole days. The hotel also provided drop-off and pick-up service. The hotel is just about 3 minutes walking distance to Hakuba Happo One skiing resort.

Pension Ringo-no Ki is a completely non-smoking property located in Hakuba. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. There is a hairdryer, free toiletries and slippers on site. Great friendly staff and breakfast. Also have as a ride to the bus station and ski rental shop.

Set 22 km from Ryuoo Ski Park, Marushige offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. All units feature air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The staff accommodated us so well, and went above and beyond our expectations with letting us check in early.

Situated in Hakuba in the Nagano region, with Happo-One Ski Resort and Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal nearby, Pension Belnina features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as... Amazing amenities (private onsen was the best), close proximity to great restaurants and bars (walking distance, but still peaceful and quiet at Belnina), delicious home cooked breakfast buffet, and the absolute kindest owner. The experience was very personable and we will definitely be back!

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. Love it. Super friendly hosts who helped us a lot, offered to pick us up, take us to hire gear at echoland (with discount at affiliated store), take us to deliver our luggage and send us to the station upon checking out. Booked restaurants for us too since we didn't have a local phone number. Thank you so much! Great accommodation, very cosy and nice atmosphere, vending machine inside, 2 onsen rooms (one of which has an outdoor onsen too, very nice in the snow) which can be used privately by booking each day. Drying room for ski gear is very convenient. Short walking distance (<5 min) to free local bus stop to goryu, happo, iwatake and also to echoland base camp for the hakuba valley shuttle. Buses only run a few each day and finish pretty early, best to not miss the last one as getting a taxi can be a pain! Breakfast needs to be booked by 10am from the previous day, but it's amazing, highly recommended.
