Gasthaus Bären Schlatt asub Säntise mägedes, mis on ümbritsetud Hoher Kasteni mäestikuga. Tubadest avaneb vaade mägedele ja Appenzelli külale. Absolutely wonderful property. Sensational location, wonderful staff, great food and great room. No praise too high. Deserves 11/10.

Mägede ja mägedega ümbritsetud pereettevõttena tegutsev Landgasthaus Neues Bild, Eggerstanden asub ajaloolises hoones, Appenzelli kesklinnast 10-minutilise autosõidu kaugusel. Better than expected. Trails nearby. Easy parking. Room was very comfortable and updated. During the summer, it was nice to have a fan in the room. We had a great dinner on one night. The host and staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would gladly stay here again.

Puutumata loodusega ümbritsetud Waldgasthaus Lehmen asub Appenzelli kantonis, Weissbadist 4 km kaugusel. Hotellis on Alpide stiilis toad ja võluv restoraniterrass. We stayed 2 nights beginning of June. If you like traditional places, you should visit Waldgasthaus Lehmen. You would be surrounded by natural forest with a view on Appenzell Alps. One of the most common sound during the day is various bells on cow necks. We were lucky to see how Appenzell farmers bring their cows to the mountains. The farmers have very beautiful cloths! On Saturday we saw a group of farmers, who came in their traditional dresses to Lehmen restaurant and had a few hours of singing and enjoying food. The restaurant is very good, if you like Swiss food. You must be hiking in that region, otherwise food might be too heavy. I had pork steak, pork schnitzel and beef steak with noodles and mushrooms. All dishes were very tasty. You have to try local beer! And Lehmen whisky! Highly recommended! Very nice! Service is impeccable, fast and attentive. All personnel is very friendly. Breakfast is wonderful! I would prefer, if it started at 7 instead of 8… Our room 17 was great, soft pillows, comfy beds, bath, simple but cozy design. The hotel has a playground for kids. Parking is huge.

Aia, tasuta privaatse parkimise, ühise puhkeruumi ja terrassiga majutusasutus Ferienhotel Idyll Gais asub Gaises, 17 km kaugusel Olma Messen St. Gallenist. Excellent building. Just how one would imagine a typical Swiss village house. I regret that I didn’t spend more time in the area. Good breakfast. Clean and perfectly maintained. I will definitely go back.

Eichbergis asuvas Landgasthof Hölzlisbergis on invarestoran, kus pakutakse hooajalisi Šveitsi ja rahvusvahelisi toite. Eichbergi bussipeatus on 1 km kaugusel. I like the property and the host and the location up hill ,beautiful. Feel home 🏡. It’s really traditional classics hotel and the owner so kind to us . She willing to open the restaurant just for us as we can’t go outside because of the weather to cold. It’s was last minute to order food and she really helped us. The day check out she did send us to train station 🚉. Thank you 🙏 so much to her kindness and hospitality. Definitely I will comeback again . Will recommend to others.

Loosmühle asub Schwende suusatõstukist 1,5 km ja Ebenalpi suusatõstukist 3 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on pagariäri, suupistebaar ja kohvik. The location is pretty much perfect. Staff is also very helpful

Schwendi Lodge asub Unterwasser-Wildhausi suusapiirkonna nõlvade kõrval ajaloolises puidust hoones, kus on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. WiFi-ühendus ja päikeseterrassiga aed. Amazing place. Lovely owners, great people! Fabulous breakfast. Stunning view of the mountains.

See traditsiooniline külalistemaja asub Alt St. Johannis, Sellamatti suusatõstukist vaid 500 meetri kaugusel. Hotellis on restoran, kus serveeritakse klassikalist Šveitsi kööki. Nice breakfast - not too big but adequate, good room that does the job. Friendly staff and value for money was okay considering it was hight season. All in all perfect for what we needed.
