El Landgasthaus Neues Bild, rodeado de colinas y montañas, es un establecimiento de gestión familiar que ocupa un edificio histórico situado a 10 minutos en coche del centro de Appenzell. Better than expected. Trails nearby. Easy parking. Room was very comfortable and updated. During the summer, it was nice to have a fan in the room. We had a great dinner on one night. The host and staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would gladly stay here again.

El Waldgasthaus Lehmen está rodeado de naturaleza virgen y se encuentra a 4 km de Weissbad, en el cantón de Appenzell. Ofrece habitaciones de estilo alpino y una terraza restaurante con encanto. We stayed 2 nights beginning of June. If you like traditional places, you should visit Waldgasthaus Lehmen. You would be surrounded by natural forest with a view on Appenzell Alps. One of the most common sound during the day is various bells on cow necks. We were lucky to see how Appenzell farmers bring their cows to the mountains. The farmers have very beautiful cloths! On Saturday we saw a group of farmers, who came in their traditional dresses to Lehmen restaurant and had a few hours of singing and enjoying food. The restaurant is very good, if you like Swiss food. You must be hiking in that region, otherwise food might be too heavy. I had pork steak, pork schnitzel and beef steak with noodles and mushrooms. All dishes were very tasty. You have to try local beer! And Lehmen whisky! Highly recommended! Very nice! Service is impeccable, fast and attentive. All personnel is very friendly. Breakfast is wonderful! I would prefer, if it started at 7 instead of 8… Our room 17 was great, soft pillows, comfy beds, bath, simple but cozy design. The hotel has a playground for kids. Parking is huge.

Ferienhotel Idyll Gais se encuentra en Gais, a 17 km de Olma Messen St. Gallen, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. Excellent building. Just how one would imagine a typical Swiss village house. I regret that I didn’t spend more time in the area. Good breakfast. Clean and perfectly maintained. I will definitely go back.

El Landgasthof Hölzlisberg de Eichberg alberga un restaurante sin barreras que sirve cocina suiza e internacional de temporada. La parada de autobús de Eichberg está a 1 km. I like the property and the host and the location up hill ,beautiful. Feel home 🏡. It’s really traditional classics hotel and the owner so kind to us . She willing to open the restaurant just for us as we can’t go outside because of the weather to cold. It’s was last minute to order food and she really helped us. The day check out she did send us to train station 🚉. Thank you 🙏 so much to her kindness and hospitality. Definitely I will comeback again . Will recommend to others.

El Schwendi Lodge, situado junto a las pistas de la estación de esquí Unterwasser-Wildhaus, es un edificio histórico de madera que ofrece gratis. Dispone de conexión Wi-Fi y jardín con solárium. Amazing place. Lovely owners, great people! Fabulous breakfast. Stunning view of the mountains.

Este establecimiento tradicional de Alt St. Johann está a sólo 500 metros del remonte de Sellamatt. Nice breakfast - not too big but adequate, good room that does the job. Friendly staff and value for money was okay considering it was hight season. All in all perfect for what we needed.
