Situated in the heart of Nelson, this 5-star hostel features free WiFi, shared kitchen facilities, spacious dining area and a sunny garden with a courtyard BBQ. Friendly and helpful staff were very proactive and accommodating with our large group. We had our own kitchen and dining area to meet in. They also rearranged rooms to meet our needs. The location is great in the center of Nelson, right next to grocery stores, shopping, and the Saturday Market. Everything was kept impeccably clean. Thus was the best hostel we stayed in New Zealand! They were also very helpful in arranging outings for everyone. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

This hostel offers free unlimited Wi-Fi, a log fire in the guest lounge and heaters in all rooms. Guests can relax in the hammock in the garden. Awesome decorations! Paintings and jokes on the walls were all phenomenal! Magnificent! One of the best hostels so far! Lovely volunteers

Bridge Backpackers is ideally located in the centre of Nelson, and offers a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. The female dorm was one of the best I stayed in! There was a private sink in the room and plugs and light next to each bed. The bathroom shower is very private as well. For being a hostel, you get a lot of privacy.

Situated in Nelson, less than 1 km from Christ Church Cathedral in Nelson, Honeysuckle House has a tranquil garden with native trees and rooms with free WiFi access. Hey, I allmost never wrote any feed back, but Honeysuckle Hostel was special for me. The owner it is such a simpatic aged man and seems run this hostel at his own. Everything here was easy going in Diy, family style. Perfect fits to me.. It really takes me to the friendly mood of Nelson town. Btw. It has really nice small garden, and you can also use some herbs for your cooking 👌🤌

Located in Nelson, The Palace Backpackers offers accommodation with free bikes and a shared lounge. The historical colonial villa is set in an enchanting garden with plum, lemon trees and flowers. sitting out on the balcony where some other backpackers sat to chill out in the afternoon. Everyone I met were amazing, friendly and very interested in why my Husband and i were in Nelson. The uphill was a challenge but doable, the parking was hard as we had a big 4x4 but again it was doable. The owner of The Palace was a pretty cool down to earth person. We enjoyed our stay and we will go back again.
