It's a very clean place and an excellent point to know more travellers, not a party hostel but very social.

Situated in the heart of Nelson, this 5-star hostel features free WiFi, shared kitchen facilities, spacious dining area and a sunny garden with a courtyard BBQ. I like that my room was private. Comfortable bed and amenities. Physical key 🗝️ to the room. Staff is able to book trips, entertainment, and transportation. Laundry is good.

This hostel offers free unlimited Wi-Fi, a log fire in the guest lounge and heaters in all rooms. Guests can relax in the hammock in the garden. I came back two times in between different locations because I enjoyed the atmosphere of this place so much! Very, clean and homey place with great staff. Thank you again!

Located in Nelson, The Palace Backpackers offers accommodation with free bikes and a shared lounge. The historical colonial villa is set in an enchanting garden with plum, lemon trees and flowers. sitting out on the balcony where some other backpackers sat to chill out in the afternoon. Everyone I met were amazing, friendly and very interested in why my Husband and i were in Nelson. The uphill was a challenge but doable, the parking was hard as we had a big 4x4 but again it was doable. The owner of The Palace was a pretty cool down to earth person. We enjoyed our stay and we will go back again.

Featuring free WiFi , Downtown Backpackers & Accommodation offers accommodation in Nelson, 400 metres from Christ Church Cathedral, Nelson. The bed was very comfortable and we were warned about the noise which wasn't too bad Apart from that we totally enjoyed our stay.
