It is a cute property close to Moyogalpa - you can walk over a remote street along the lake or we had an ATV rented. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was especially a highlight!

Nuvia and Jenifer were wonderful and helpful with organizing motos and transportation and also gave great advice for activities. The breakfast and drinks were great as well and such a beautiful landscape with all the plants and flowers. We loved staying in our own private bungalow too. There was a net for bugs and a fan to keep cool. And they do laundry as well for a great price. It’s also nice to be close to the town of Balgue for eating.

At B&B, family run homestay, Hospedaje La Penita every room has bed linen and towels. Learned this was one of the original hostels on Ometepe. Breakfasts and dinners were freshly prepared with local ingredients. Their dogs and cats were very nice to spend time with. The hosts can lease scooters and deliver them for competitive prices. Communication with host prior to and during stay was excellent.

She helped us with everything, we got sick and she literally took care of us. The location is great and the rooms are big enough with private bathroom, the breakfast was amazing as well.

The hostel offers an à la carte or vegan breakfast. I loved everything about El Pital! It’s a wonderful place immersed in nature. They have great food and many ingredients are coming straight from their garden. Also the cacao ceremonies and daily yoga classes are amazing. The staff is lovely and always helpful. I did the cacao tour with Justin and it was so insightful. I highly recommend staying here. I‘ll definitely be back someday :)
